barca Posted January 29, 2018 Author Report Share Posted January 29, 2018 lazarus and I knocked out a TY battle, 100 pts at OCGG. US Armd Cbt Tm vs. Sov Tank Rgt, including 4 SU-25 Frogfoots. Mission was Encounter. US went first in first turn. Victory to US. Lessons learned: Open table / less terrain favors longest range weapons. Just 2 undamaged US vulcans hurt Soviet aircraft. Being affected by Meeting Engagement makes ITVs useless on the first turn. The Faction that has an open backfield can quickly shift their forces from one flank to the other.
