Why can't we have an 8th edition fantasy event like last year. It's not like all of our 8th edition fantasy books burst into flames when AoS was released.

Just kind of curious as to why this isn't even being considered this year.

I am making some Chaos conversions with my Imperial Knights, I need the giant chain axe from the Lord of Skulls kit. I have $$ and trades.

Honestly if you want official gw info on the connection of the 40k universe and warhammer fantasy universe all you have to do is read the Realms of Chaos books: The Lost and the Damned and Slaves to Darkness. They had rules for Chaos space marines in the old world. I have fought several Chaos marines in warhammer fantasy roleplay.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I will definitely give metal a try. I may change my lore to metal as I am not impressed with tzeentch and only take it for fluff reasons.  

I don't know much about the lore of metal, why do you prefer that over tzeentch? Also I don't think a tzeentch wizard can take lore of metal.

This list is made of models that I like. I'm not sure how effective it will be. I'm even thinking of getting throgg so I can take trolls as core then it can be an all beast list. The down side to that would be no magic or bsb and I think that would be too much of a handicap.

Yes, the slaughterbrute says the bind it to a friendly lord or hero. Do you really think its a good list? I have people telling me that it's too soft of a list.

My warriors list comps out at 19.3.

I am thinking of taking a large monster warriors list, here is a rough draft of my idea (not sure what the points come out to).

Special character Dragon Ogre Shaggoth guy

a Daemon Prince Wizard of some sort

Mandatory core (probably nurgle warriors with shield and sword)

dragon ogres (unit of 6 with great weapons)

Shaggoth

Slaughter Brute

Giant

6 Chaos trolls (I have some skin wolves that I would use as trolls)

maybe a few chaos spawn as well

I'm thinking of doing a warriors army and was looking for opinions on some units I was thinking of taking. First how good are dragon ogres? I like the new models and would like to run a unit or two. How would you arm them great weapons of two hand weapons. Second which is better slaughter brute or void beast. Also is a warshrine worth taking. I don't have the book yet so I am just looking at the models that I like. Please let Mr know if I am getting distracted by monsters and should look at other choices for the army. Also this is to play at ofcc so that is the kind of army I am looking to build.

I have been using lando with gunner and c3po and 4 head hunters and that has been working very well. I am thinking of changing it a little and bringing chewy with gunner, c3po, and squad leader with 4 head hunters. Pretty much the same list either way. I am working on a straight up headhunter swarm and a 3 tie defender list. thatdave has a pretty mean 3 tie advance list.

Title says it all, I'm looking for people to play destiny with on the xbox one. I have a lvl 31 warlock. 

My tree is from the TTB kickstarter so has the v2 cards.

GW has already confirmed that they are just updating the Dark Vengeance box set for 7th edition (see White Dwarf issue #16 page 3, box in lower right corner titled Dark Vengeance).

I would say that White Dwarf is a reliable source of information when it comes to GW releases.

I just thought that leadership bombs were frowned upon at ofcc, that's why I didn't submit my lamian based list. If they are accepted now then I guess I don't see a problem with this list. 

Also with that build you want your vamp lord in every challenge possible, you will win almost every time.

My list is already turned in.

My only concern with this list is the leadership bomb on the lord. -1 ld from ADM, reroll fear tests, make ld test at a -3 (-4 with ADM) or have to reroll to successful to hit rolls add all that to +2 str and +2 WS plus ASF and his defensive abilities and he is almost impossible to get rid of. Also the terrorghiest scream will be even better targeting anything in his -LD bubble.

It gets even better if you are taking lore of death on your necromancer or vamp lord.

Other than that I really like the list. I don't know what the Necrofex Colossus is but it sounds cool.

For an iron golem have you looked at using a Malifaux rail golem. I think it might be big enough to work.

Yes, I just looked it up in the warhammer FAQ and it specifically says that unit champions are not characters. That is good because it makes the sword not op. I think this is the list I will be taking unless someone looks at it and points out something I didn't see or think of.

I need about 30 grave guard for my OFCC Vampire Counts army. I prefer unassembled models but will accept neatly assembled models (I need HW and Shield and full command). I have some 40K stuff I can trade or I can do cash if the price is right.
