  1. In the last few months I've lost my job, lost my dog, lost my fiance of 8 years, lost my car, and will soon lose where I live. I need money to stabilize my life right now.

Everything is as shown. I'll consider any offer within reason, but it's got to be cash. I really just need this stuff gone.

I am located in North Portland and don't have many options for traveling. I am willing to ship things as long as shipping fees are covered.

Again, everything is negotiable. Please make me an offer and help me out.

Current Rulebook + Corebook, old Rulebook, Classified Deck, acrylic tokens, and a huge pile of nice home-made tokens(~100 tokens, I think).

The models are the Haqqislam starter box, Haqqislam doctor, Haqqislam hacker, Qapu Khalqi Sectorial box, Djanbazan HMG, 2 Yuan Yuan, Kaplan Tactical Service box, Odalisques box, Nomads Support box, and the Nomads from the Operation Icestorm set. I purchased the Scarface and Cordelia box, but it only came with half the components and Corvus Belli refused to replace them.

Some are partially painted, some are unassembled. Almost everything is pinned and they're all on nice custom bases. This is great if you want to get into the game and play a really unique faction.

    $130

This is a bummer to have to sell. This is my collection of Rogue Trader to 3rd Edition Eldar. There's a lot of cool stuff here if you like old models. RT Eldar special characters, Harlequins (I tried to reduce duplicates except for the special ones). All metal except maybe 3-4 guardians.

    Included is:

    1 Avatar

    2 Farseer

    2 Warlock

    6 Rangers

    6 Banshees

    6 Dire Avengers

    16 Guardians

    3 Support Platforms

    15 Harlequins

    $130

    $130

    Thanks everyone for looking.

  2. Well, after seeing some Epic Marines listed recently, I was reminded I have some Epic Orks collecting dust in my closet. This would be a good opportunity to pick up both and have two factions!

In total, I have for sale:

    1 Command base

    4 Kommando bases

    6 Storm Boy bases

    8 Mega Armored Nobz bases

    16 Grot bases

    34 Bases of Boyz

    8 Forgeworld resin Trukks

    3 Forgeworld resin Battlewagons

    7 Stompas

    3 metal Fighta-Bommas

13 Gun bases (these are converted)

    6 Buggies

    6 Flamer Trakks

    8 Bikes

    5 Plastic Tanks

    7 bases without models

4 incomplete Ork Sprues (enough for 11 more bases of Boyz and a few other support units. Also, boars!)

    Plastic storage case

    Epic: Armageddon rulebook

Infantry are all based on the rectangular bases.

    I'm looking for $220 OBO

I'm located in North Portland and I'd prefer to keep it local, but I'll ship it out if you cover shipping costs. I'm mobile most of the time and can meet up for a quick and easy exchange.

Sorry for the bad photo. This is a good representation of condition. Some are painted to good tabletop quality, some are partially painted, most are primed black, some are unprimed, and a few are unassembled.

    Thanks for looking!

  3. A few of us play at the Portland Game Store. I'm in the process of setting up a regular miniature gaming club there that will meet on Sundays at noon. (We're also playing Malifaux, Infinity, This Is Not A Test, and whatever else our gaming ADD can support)

I've got roughly 3000 pts of late 1944 German Panzergrenadiers with some supporting Fallschirmjager. We're a little short of WW2 appropriate terrain as of now, but I've got 3 buildings on the way and I'm making some scatter terrain as well.

  4. MDF requires shellac to seal raw edges, otherwise it soaks up paint. Lasercut MDF doesn't always need this because the cutting process usually seals it, but I would recommend shellac anyway. After shellac, sand smooth with 220 or 400 grit sandpaper and glue/prime. You can use superglue or wood glue to assemble. If you're going to apply sand or flock with white glue, use shellac and primer on all sides to prevent warping.

  5. People that bring Epic stuff will have it purchased by me.

I've got a good amount of Epic Orks I've been meaning to sell.

I'll also have some BFG orks for sale. Plenty of other odds and ends as well. Maybe some old harlequins if I can be persuaded with the right offer.

I'm in the market for Necromunda stuff, some vostroyans, inquisition models, and as many bitz as I can get my hands on.

  6. LA's Totally Awesome (yeah, that's the product name) in a heated ultrasonic cleaner.

Use in a well ventilated area. Use gloves.

It's safe for plastics and it takes almost no time at all. I run the ultrasonic cleaner for 8 minutes and check the models. The paint is usually slipping off by now, but if not, I run for another 8 minutes. I'll use a toothbrush (cheap battery operated ones are ideal) and get the rest out of the details. I generally spend no more than a minute brushing each model. You could easily fit 20+ normal models in the ultrasonic cleaner.

LA's Totally Awesome is $1 a bottle and you'll need 2. The Ultrasonic Cleaner I use is from Harbor Freight. Buy when it's on sale, then use a percentage-off coupon to get a better deal. They've never said no to me when I've used their coupons on sale items. I'm certain I paid around $40 when I got mine.

This is great if you need to strip a lot of minis fast. If you need to do just a few, I'd try just the LA's Totally Awesome in a jar.

  7. http://www.fiberlay.com/

I do a lot of mold making and resin work professionally and I source nearly everything through Fiberlay now. In my experiences, they've been significantly more helpful and knowledgeable than TAP.

You'll probably want the Sharkthane Hard Pro 65-2 or 70-3. They both have extremely short pot times, but it's thin and I've never had any issues with bubbles.

If you need silicone, get their Pro-Sil 1000.
