  1. On your list, I think the mini drives the best. It's handling and seating is amazing. Only complaint is it's low profiling seating can be annoying to get in and out of after long drives.

I would just spend the extra on a touring forester and avoid the cross, as you said it is gutless and boring to drive. Wrx from Subaru gives you a much better ride.

  2. A preface for this one: I can't drink milk anymore. There is no genuine substitute, just many forms of not as good dairy-free alternatives. I like this particular brand because they are really cheap at Winco, $1.18 per quart, which usually results in me consuming them by the quart (don't seem to keep very well once opened, but don't require refrigeration until opened). Ratings assume an entire quart is being consumed.

Kikkoman Pearl Organic Soymilk Original - 3/5. It's Soymilk. Not great, but a cheap beverage which has 32g of protein, 100% calcium, 100% vitamin A, 100% vitamin D, and it's got a fair amount of calories.

Kikkoman Pearl Organic Soymilk Unsweetened - 3/5. As above, but with a more watery taste. It isn't great, but this version has the added bonus of not competing for calories with other foods you consume during the day

Kikkoman Pearl Organic Soymilk Coffee - 5/5, but dangerous. So what isn't mentioned on the package, is how much coffee is in this (and it doesn't say on their website either. Had to ask, they claim equal to roughly 4 cups of coffee per quart). I regularly consume energy drinks without ill effects. I briefly switched to these and within a few days was visibly shaking from caffeine overdose (actually had to look this one up, since it never happens on other things). Tastes great, but I definitely consume them too quickly to allow myself to buy these in the future.

Kikkoman Pearl Organic Soymilk Chocolate - 4/5. Basically Original version, plus hot cocoa mix. Tastes pretty good for soymilk. Main feature is that this is one of very few non-dairy chocolate beverage options, especially regarding cheap beverage options.

Thanks. I'm glad it turned out.

You know making your own nut milks is super easy. It also tastes way better. I make almond milk and cashew milk from time to time and it's wonderful.

Soak 1 cup raw almonds for 36 hours. Rinse then blend with 2 cups water a dash of vanilla and a tsp of maple syrup (real stuff). Blend for 2 minutes. Pour and squeeze through nut bag. keeps for 3 days.

  3. My own workout cocktail:

    2 tsp bcaa

    1 tsp creatine

    2 tsp l arginine

    1/2 tsp beta alinine

    200mg caffeine

    Tsb of fruit punch gatorade

With some ice pretty good at getting you going

    Feeling during wokthe out 5/5

    Taste 3/5

Cost 1/5 of the bs out there and at least I know what is in it.

  4. I just got done glancing through books and I really like all the new rules. I think they did a good job. I would have to agree piling on seems fruitless. I do think clawmb is still very powerful and a small adjustment would have been nice. MB only impacting injury roll and no affect on armor roll or boost only armor roll.

I think the drop in price in catcher works as they are good vanilla and really only need block to be really good. Drop in price helps keep the team fully rostered. I also think no wizard was a good move. As they couldn't be competitive with cards.

I like the league rules a lot.

Overall minimal grumbles. I think this will be wonderful as we should get some greay fresh meat. Now to pick my race. I want to do skaven but afraid with release that might be popular. I might go back and play another race already or branch out to another.

  5. Cards are better than a wizard for sure. I haven't read it but I would like the idea that cards become the great equalizer. I look forward to more expansions. I like that each card is actually usable. I think only 2 felt completely situational.

Actually dice is same font :(

  6. Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast. 3/5.

G-rated story. It flows well and is colorful. Definitely aimed at young kids, with no hidden plots or ineudendo (spelling?). They did an impressive job, for modern films, in not even touching most potentially offensive topics. No singing or irritating characters, and no comic relief. No romance or death in this film, just "basically" a film about a girl and her dog, and how that dog impacts her and her friends. A good film to not really watch while painting models or otherwise distracted. Recommended for people with kids, especially people with netflix, as this film is probably not worth buying...

    Why?

I mean you have no kids. I have a daughter and have seen this a dozen times. I agree with what you wrote but as a parent I know I wouldn't try to see this unless I had kids.

Lol. I am dying inside since you reviewed this.

Stakeland.- 4/5 different kind of vampire flick. One of my least favorite monsters. I enjoyed this one.

  7. Got it. Thanks, Burk. I started on the Competition Rulebook so a lot of the older stuff I'm not aware ever existed before (not sure why they would remove it then add it back, for that matter). Those were my 'at-a-glance' gripes & things that seemed like good ideas. I didn't intend it to be a whole damn manifesto but apparently I get to typing & can't bring myself to stop. :)

We did use some cards two seasons ago in the league but they either seemed to not matter or fail miserably (ask Biggles, it was glorious failure) so I haven't really seen any that can stop the infamous elf touchdown.

    ***Grumble***

  8. Easy call the number you know or go to the website you trust.

When I get a call from my bank and I am not expecting it and don't reconfinze the number, I ask for there department name and some way to indentify them and I call the number I know is my bank and go from there. If it is a scam, bringing it to my banks attention means they might help alter other possible victims. They have a vested interest not to allow your account to be compromised too.

Perfectly reasonable concern, but I also think easy to solve. If conversation was not intimated by you conclude and initiate the way you know you trust.
