  1. Yes the 8 person group was a bunch of smaller armies that decided to get together and have a big match. It was cool to watch. They had to end early due to time limits. We are doing a couple days a week with the main one being Fridays. We have 3 4x6 tables always ready for play with two more that can be set up if needed.

  4. I am open to all ideas. I have not played before so not sure what format. Champion I would love to chat with you sometime and work out details. I have a ton of stuff on my plate as a new store but want to get something built and played. I do have a sign up sheet in the store.

  5. If anyone is in the Oregon City area and looking for an age of Sigmar game please let me know. Monday nights are open miniature gaming nights. I am building a Khorne Bloodbound Army and would love to have someone help me sharpen my blades of hate and discontent.

    Thanks,

  6. Geeks and Games in Oregon City will be hosting Kill team events this December. We will start with 3 Kill Team mini-tournaments on Saturdays. January will see a series of escalation events on Friday as well leading to final battle royal one Saturday in February. Specifics on these events are still being worked out but the Kill Team and Escalation will be $5.00 entry fee per event with prices along the way for the winner, best painted and sportsmanship. The final event will be a larger event occurring on a Saturday. This event will be a double elimination guaranteeing at least 2 games per entry. Cost is not yet set but more prices are being planned. Please post here or follow the stores web site or Facebook as details are ironed out.

    Thanks again

  9. Thanks all for the posts. Looks like there are people interested in various time. Keep in mind our tables are always open (unless we have a tournament) and are free to use on a first come first serve basis. I would love to see people in here having fun and learning the game. I have to self admit that I have yet to play a 40K game. I know, I know....

I am really looking at a Kill Team group to keep initial cost low and to get into the game sooner. I would also love to see an escalation or league event. If anyone want to come chat with me I will be more than happy to support and help with the logistics. Also we have many other activities younger children can engage in, so at a minimal come check us out!
