I am seriously considering getting an FDM printer, just for terrain.

Really was getting things going well with my photon - but it crapped out about 2 weeks ago with a weird error.
I joined the Anycubic Photon Owner group on FaceBook, and there seems to be a lot of that going around. I guess for $400 their quality control isn't the best.
I am loving my Photon. Although it's not running at the moment. It's set up where I paint, and I need to paint a LOT before the OFCC...
I did make some Tau objective markers, a Space Marine that turned out to be about 30% too large, and a wound counter for my StormSurge. Oh, and a few bolters. -

Very cool, what stl are you using for the CIBs?
I found the file on Thingiverse, after searching for a good bit. I'll see if I can find the actual link a little later.
Had a few options depending on the printer, different parts to glue together and stuff. but I found the full gun printed just fine for me.

New to the group. Got an Anycubic Photon about a month ago, loving it so far. The detail is crazy.
So far just making a few extra cyclic ion guns for my Tau battlesuits. Well that and D&D minis. -
Don't think the repair works for a StormSurge, either. The stratagem says Battlesuit.
I knew about the repair drones, but didn't realize the shield drones didn't work.
Maybe have to swap the extra 4 out for some markerlight drones or something. Hmmm.... -
Right. Drop the Riptide, and keep the one Stormsurge.
Use the Riptide points to add some Pathfinders (if I buy more) and troops (if I buy another starter box).Don't have a huge collection, so my options are kinda limited.

I'm the Tau guy in question. I'm new to the group, and new to Warhammer (about a year?).
I am considering dropping the RipTide and buying some more pathfinders and maybe another start collecting box. I do love the markerlights...
Any thoughts? Would that make it more OFCC friendly?
