Players: 8 Player Experience: Experience Preferred 2 teams: NATO vs Warsaw Pact. 4 players per team. Each winning team member gets prize. 64 point Force per Team Member. EVENT DESCRIPTION: The Blue/NATO team must retake and keep open AutoBahn 7 to Hanover to prevent that city from falling. If they are successeful, then the Blue Team will prevent the collapse of NATO's NORTHAG from the Soviet and East German onslaught. The Red/Warsaw Pact Team must seize control of the highway, and punch a hole in the NATO defenses. Each player has a sector and objectives. Forces are provided, but you can bring your own (optional). Mech Units - 1pt - meaning any unit with Transports (Armored, Unarmored,or Horse-drawn), Unarmored Tank Teams (like British Portees), Any Tank Unit with the Spearhead Rule, or Cavalry Infantry/Gun Units - 0pts. - Any Unit made up of only Infantry Teams and Gun Teams. Game Play: Players are responsible for monitoring the time and the judges will announce time intervals throughout the tournament. A true act of sportsmanship is not starting a new turn if both players will not be able to finish that turn. The game should be called if both players cannot finish their turn and the results should be calculated. Slow play is to be actively discouraged. When time is called the game must immediately end regardless of the action taking place in the game. New turns cannot be started even if starting a new turn would award an immediate victory or cause a player to make a company morale check. TOURNAMENT SCORING (running scenarios still but this is probably the scoring) We will be using a spreadsheet for scoring and here is the breakdown we will use for the Enfilade 2018 tournament. We have a request for at least one practice game for ENFILADE, for SAT, APR 21. I made a reservation for 2 tables at GG, for 12-5 PM Souldier3 and I will be using one table. The second table can be used by two more peeps to practice for ENFILADE. I will bring some "sparring partner" armies if u need to match your list against an aopponent force you have not played, or if you want to borrow some models and cards to experiment. Thanks to Victor and Alyssa for putting on an excellent historical battle and test run of this event that will be featured at ENFILADE! 2016. Had a great time. Want more. Appreciate all the research, artistic energy and creative Game Mastering that made this a riveting, fun and learning experience! Also am grateful for the venue, which took more resources to organize, but was quieter and more spacious than other spots in GG. I could not stay for the entire battle, but the time that I had at the table left me with a taste for more. And thanks to everyone at the table. Cooperative and competitive in a sociable mix.
