  1. Hey folks-

As much as I hate to type this, Rose City Wrath 2020 is not going to happen. We lost our venue due to COVID-19 and at this point there is nothing more to be done.

I’m really gutted over this. I’ve been running events since 2014, and I’ve never had cancel one, but being responsible to the community and players health and safety is what is most important here.

My fellow players and the community are the best part of this hobby and I’m looking forward to seeing all my nerds after all this  is over.

I’ll be processing refunds for players still registered over the weekend. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

Thanks for supporting our awesome PNW and British Columbia AoS scene, and take care of yourselves.

  3. Meeting engagement is great, and goes pretty quick. It might be a little difficult to fit in 90mon rounds for new players since it  implicates things a bit but it’s a ton of fun.

If if you are looking to generate new players you might thing about a standard 2k play day with Swiss pairings. No scoring like a tournament, just the pairing to make later rounds more evenly matched.

Either way fun will be had for sure.

  4. I have been considering starting an annual Blood Biwl event in the Portland area for s while, and am looking to find out what kind of interest the community has.

It's likely to be in January or possibly February and will have some sort of trophy at the very least, and more support based on interest.

Please let me know your thoughts either here, by email at teamamericawhp@gmail.com or via PM.
