Assault does need a boost but I don't know about 1 turn assault off of infiltrate. That's pretty rough.

I do agree that outlflank should be allowed to assault and FMC should be able to assault the turn they land.

No assault off of deepstrike. Termies are scary enough with this.

I would also like to add the rule for assaults where you can consolidate into another assault.

Fluger I know you said not codex specific but I am going to blatantly and belligerently defy you. I would say get rid of the battle focus for eldar. I know eldarers love it but it is ridiculously time consuming to play in tournaments and really unfair for maelstrom missions where you vastly benefit from being on objectives turn one.

Now getting back on track, I would say get rid of mysterious objectives, mostly because everyone forgets about the sabotage one. (conveniently I assume).

All true, but at what point can we throw the dumb stats out the window. It seems that using statistics isn't very statistical. I base the stats of what I have seen in my game play. What I have seen in many of the games I have played is that a T8 model with a 3+ save and FNP 5+ dies incredibly easy. I would hate to see what would happen if that GC was a T6 model. Much easier to kill.

My only response to this (the only objection that needs to be stated) is that my Barbed Heirodule which is T8 goes down like a chump. He is only a beast in CC because of S10 not stomp. Stomp is only good on a Six. It doesn't hurt that bad on 2-5 and 1 does nothing. Not great.

I am with Paxmiles on this one. Throw out statistics because my mawlocs consistently die to two land raiders shooting at them, all the time. All my MC do for that matter. 5+ FNP is just a slap in the face joke at that point.

If you play start playing Nids Paxmiles your view may quickly change. However you could also be the unique masochist that loves it. But I doubt it. It starts to hurt really quick.

I think Tyranid players in general have a certain aura of pessimism. If you have a dump truck run over you every Wednesday at noon for 15 years, well  you are going to start hating the noonish part of the day, not to mention those damn dump trucks. Watching a new nid player is like watching a time lapse of somebodies life slowly falling apart.
