    There are multiple Portland players with extra armies. Don't know if they run or have run WAB or not. Message me your email, if you like, and I'll try and loop you into an upcoming game.     Please join fellow historical miniature enthusiasts for an afternoon of skirmish gaming. Play will certainly include SAGA, and perhaps Lion Rampant or something of a WWII flavor. As a rule of thumb, if you bring a SAGA faction, you will find an opponent. Meet in the back bar of Guardian Games, 2pm to 6pm, on Saturday January 21st.

    Want to keep it on people's radar that this one-day historical gaming event will be happening in just 15 days on December 3 at Guardian Games. This event is FREE. There are current six hosted games scheduled (three in the first session, three in the second - see link). We would love to get at least one more game in each session so we can accommodate more players if necessary. If you are planning on attending, I would also recommend you plan what/where you are going to eat.     The next Portland Historical Wargaming get together is Saturday, October 29, 2pm-6pm at the Guardian Games back bar. As usual, someone will be there to take on all comers in all things SAGA. If there is sufficient interest, I may host a up-to-four-player English Civil War game using a variant of the Lion Rampant rules...

    Ambuscade!, a one-day historical miniature wargaming event will be held on December 3, 2016 at Guardian Games in the "Level Up" room (21+ only) and will consist of two four-hour sessions of hosted historical wargames. Session A is 12:00-4:00 and Session B is 5:00-9:00.

    In honor of the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066, all SAGA games played on the 24th will the "Battle of the Fords" scenario from the Dark Ages core rulebook. Plan your warbands accordingly...

    This month's Portland Historical Wargaming day is Saturday, September 24, 2pm-6pm at Guardian Games in 'Critical Sip' (21+only). There will be SAGA dark ages skirmish gaming (at least 3-4 players at the least). In October we should get back to running some demo games set in other periods.

    The next Portland Historical Wargaming day is Saturday, August 27th, from 2pm to 6pm at Guardian Games (in the back bar). Due to a lot of scheduling conflicts there will only be SAGA on tap this time around, so bring your dark age warband of choice for a game or two (I am brining an Irish warband). Be seeing you.

    Quick reminder and update that next Portland Historical Wargaming day is this Saturday from 2-6 in the bar at Guardian Games, featuring another hosted game of Pikes Rampant (ECW variant of Lion Rampant), plenty of SAGA dark ages skirmish fun, and a hosted Napoleonics game of Blucher! Meet and connect with other historio-curious miniature wargamers in the greater Portland area, roll some dice, push some lead around, drink a beer, get a free sticker, see you Saturday!

    The next Portland Historical Wargaming day is Saturday, July 23rd, from 2pm to 6pm at Guardian Games (in the back bar). There will be another game of "Pikes Rampant" (an English Civil War pike & shotte variant of the Lion Rampant rules) and one or two participants are needed for this game. There will also be a SAGA warband (or two) loitering around and thus available for a game or two - so bring your dark ages faction of choice if you'd like. There will also be a game of Blucher (tabletop Napoleonic wargame) taking one or two players There will also be free stickers. Say what? Free stickers? Yep, free stickers.
