  1. EDIT: I really have no use nor space for this box, so if anyone wants it for $180 (and to spare me the trouble of dicking around on eBay), lemme know!

    -----

I bought it a few years ago, but then just never had the urge to do anything with it, so I'm clearing it out to free up space and cash for more Horus Heresy stuff.  It's missing one or possibly two Assault Intercessors, and for some reason most of the bases, but it's otherwise complete - the book is still in the shrink-wrap at the bottom of the box, and everything is still on sprues.

Anyone interested in this for, say, $225?

Not sure whether I was around or if this happened - but I have been keeping my gaslands case in my car - I tend to attend the clubhouse on Tuesday game nights, and would definitely be down for a quick refresher game sometime.  I will have to work around my dungeonbowl league schedule, but that should be fairly easy.

I still haven't made it out, but soooon!

I’m not a Member (yet) but I’d like to do this at the Clubhouse, and take advantage of the terrain stock. Are there any frequent attendees who can suggest a date & time for a drop-in Gaslands game?

Well, I haven't actually been to the Clubhouse in about two years since, y'know, the world unpleasantness started, but I'm ready to get back into the mix! I can't make tomorrow, but I'd love to show up next Tuesday (3/22) to push some cars around the wasteland if there's interest.

Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to find anyone else interested.

Um, I am super interested in Conan! I have the book in hard copy and a few supplements in pdf - I would VERY much love to run or play Conan. That system seems great, especially the doom/momentum mechanic, and I love sword and sorcery. Maybe we try to drum up a game when the world gets more normal again, yeah?

  5. I'm sure part of my Moldvay preference is nostalgia - it's the edition I started with when I got it for Christmas one year, and it's always been my fave.

It also feels like the last kinda "gonzo" D&D to me - the following Mentzer edition and then Rules Cyclopedia felt more codified, sanitized, and hewing more toward a firmer European medieval vibe. I like the looser, weirder Moldvay.

I really like Moldvay art better, too - gimme Otus and Willingham any day over Easley and Elmore any day!

Its a virus. A vaccine is about as likely for the Flu as it is for COVID. Its sad but so far the reality. Even if we get a vaccine there have been multiple mutations of the initial virus so it might not work.

Well, since there are vaccines for most viruses, including the flu, I'm optimistic. My wife and I are both immune compromised, so I'm playing it more cautious until SOMETHING changes substantially, at any rate. 🤷‍♂️

Pe-order sold out while payment was authorizing.  Thanks for nothing, GW.

They are getting DRAGGED for it on FB, too. And apparently they screwed stores on the amount of box sets they could get. I'm running over to Guardian at noon to order the core book and Chapter Approved - I'm assuming those will be easier to get, at least. 🤞

I know I am being crazy here- but does anyone remember those old cult limos. Maybe I am remembering wrong...

I remember those! But they weren't a thing that GW produced - they were converted toys that someone did for a big genestealer cult article/army list in WD waaay back in the day.

  9. A 40K renegade with (before it broke off and I lost it) a missile launcher. I would've bought him at Comic Book World in Florence, KY - I guess it would've been around 1988 or so? He's been waiting for me to finish painting him for 30+ years - sorry, pal!
