xnowxforeverx Posted January 7, 2016 Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 Scenario 40k Escalation League What: weekly 40k escalation league (5 weeks) Where: Fate and Fury Games 17030 se 1st st, ste 104 Vancouver, Wa When: Starting Saturday 1/9/16 Who: Anyone with a good Attitude, and wants to have a fun time without being overly competitive Entry Cost $5 per Week Prizes 1st place $35 in store credit 2nd place $25 in store credit 3rd place $15 in store credit Last place $10 in store credit *All League players will receive a 10% discount on all Warhammer purchases and orders. Premise: Each player will start with a small fighting fore and over the course of the campaign you will be able to upgrade and add additional units to their base force. Units that survive each battle will become veteran and receive special rules that carry over at each battle until they are completely destroyed. Story: Planet Aviloe-7 is on the far fringe of the galaxy. It is rich with resources and technology. Due to a warp storm only a small expeditionary force with a young unknown untested HQ is able to arrive to the planet. This is the time for them to be tested through blood and battle to create their story. Rules: No lords of war, Formations, name characters, allies, or flyers Before the game each player will choose a core force -The core will stay the same throughout the game -Every additional united added to core each week will be considered core -Each player has one mulligan per the course of the game to change thier core unit however they lose any upgrades Special Rules: Veteran HQ: after each battle your HQ has survived he/she will randomly receive a permanent trait from the "Veteran HQ" chart Veteran Units: After each battle that a unit has survived they will randomly receive a permanent special rule of the "Veteran Unit" chart Veteran Vehicle: After each battle that a vehicle has survived they will randomly receive a permanent special rule of the "Veteran Vehicle" chart If a Veteran HQ is killed furing a battle the controlling player may choose for them to be unconscious - HQ does not lose any special rules - Does not gain any special rules for the battle - Counts as dead for kill points and slay the warlord - Starts next battle with one less wound with a min of 1 wound Come on in a join in and get your copy of the league rules and each weeks scenario 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
