I've been getting a lot of interest in seperate pieces on forums I've posted. Unfortunately at this time trying to move the whole lot at once. If I get no itnerest by the time I return to Hawaii from my vacation Ill look into splitting lots.

Played against a really fun Ork list the other day was something like:

So CaptainA is amazing and letting me borrow most of this for the tourney however he doesn't own any Deathmarks. Mine unfortuantely are not evfen primed and I wouldn't have tim to finish them up to bring with me.

Anyone have 5 Deathmarks lying around that they could bring to the tourney?

Cortland will be making his GLORIOUS return from Hawaii for two week in early August, unfortunately I wasn't able to time it well enough to make it to the Club Tourney so I could win all those lovely lovely favorite opponent pins, but I would still like to get a few games in.

I could bring my army if I really had to but would love just a few casual games at the club house and throw some dice with some people.

Anyway I know the mechanics of 40k obviously but if any of you Fantasy grizzled veterans wanted to give it a try I've been itching to give AoS a try as well.

Anyway shoot me a PM, I'll be in town from the 6th-20th of August and would love to get a few games in. Also, are there any tournies running during that time?

There is a shroud and staff though, I'm guessing without ever seeing it that the lychguard form a deathstar with the IC's and port somewhere unfun for your opponent. Then they take a withering amount of fire without taking any casualties and then begin wrecking house with 12+ war scythes.

Truth be told behind a good general even with a sub optimized list if your taking decurion necrons you'll have a good chance against most lists that are optimized as well.

In my experience so far almost everything is viable in the codex.

I just find it odd that in all actuality Imperial Fists or Crison Fists Sterngard seem slightly sub par to them when paired with combi meltas.

I guess its just a bonus i traditionally run Sentinels Of Terra.

So a couple questions...

First:

About bombs and bombing runs. It describes it as a "special kind of attack." Which makes it seem to me that it is not a shooting attack. Does this mean a model that Jinks! the prior turn may still drop a bomb on the ensuing turn despite it being a blast weapon, since for all rules purposes it is not a shooting attack?

Secondly, in the newest space marine codex they have kind of reworded Vulkan's master crafted ability.

"all meltaguns, combi-meltas and multi-meltas fired by models in this detachment have the master-crafted special rule."

Followed by in the main rule book

"a model armed with a combi-weapon can choose to fire either the main boltgun, or the secondary weapon."

Now, I think I fully understand the RAI to be that the melta portion is suppose to be the one getting the mastercrafting, but as RAW it would indicate that any model equipped with a combi weapon would automatically have it mastercrafted even for things such as special ammunition etc.

Would love some weigh in from both sides, ITC rulings etc and 40k BRB

So i know the size of each 40k base. But was wondering which size washer to buy for the under side to weigh then down.

Mainly for infantry and wraiths.

But the cryptek will let you literal it at 4

6 or 7 hours but they are stripped. Reprimed. Ready to paint.

Not fun. Probably not worth the effort. But good to know with some patience dip can be strippee.

Well did a test on a warrior and it is seeming to work. 

I did my first wraith in it and no damage to the model but this stuff is just a pain to clean up. 

Soak for 5minutes scrub and pick at it rinse repeat. Each model is going to take a substantial amount of time due to all the crevaces etc.

Fortunately they are the new plastics that I got a good deal on.

Unfortunately they are plastic as we all know.

I've heard some rumors that non acetone (ethyl acetate) polish removers will get the job done as long as not left in for more than 20 minutes at a time as eventually they will eat the plastic like their acetone counterparts. 

So I know there has been a few posts about stripping miniatures and I've always had success with the normal methods, mineral spirits, castrol super clean, brake fluid for tough jobs, etc.

Anyway I just picked up some wraiths for a great deal but they've been dipped in what I believe is Minwax. 

Anyone have suggestions for getting this off?
