I was going to bring Orks but the work required was more than I was up for so I brought silly

1500 khorne kin

4 land raider

chaos lord in terminators with lightning claws

3 termis with 2 combimeltas and power axes 

 2 8 man cultist squads one with autoguns

fire storm redoubt with quad lascannons

lost first game to Todd's sisters 5-4

his melta did a number on me

lost second game to Tau farsight with 2 forgeworld riptides and a missile gargantuan suit. So just shot off the table

game 3 was a blast from the past. Played verses Reid and his IG. I probably haven't played him since the game wizard in 2006

I couldn't kill anything and he just rolled up my flanks winning 12-9.

I look forward to 8th

Back in third when they had chaos legions in white dwarf. World eaters could get plasma pistols for 5 points. They were worth it since they had no other weapon choice.

the fall back fixes the other kick in the nuts in 40k when you have one surviving guy who stops your whole army from shooting the assaulters.

Really tempted to run Orks on Saturday at PFC games to play them once in 7th edition.

I am so curious how forgeworld stuff will be updated. If they will take time to tweek overpowered and boost subpar 

the best news is all the codex are invalid. This allows me to not get another iPhone.

The problem is fluffy gamers want flexible army lists so they can build armies to match their fluff. That gives power gamers the ability to make broken lists.

Sparks who finished 2nd didn't play guard his favorite army. Why? Like orks, guard can't win at the top events. There is no balance in 40k and a balanced result comes from poor players playing good codex armies

As a 7ed barometer there were 4 ork armies in the adepticon championship out of 203 armies.

as long as orks become winnable and berzerkers suck less.

I picked up the Quadjumper when I was hanging out at Mugu games waiting for my turn at the DMV. I really like this ship. it has a bunch of fun maneuvers that seem like you could really annoying for opponents. I need to decide if I want to pick up my normal triple allotment of small ships.

I also picked up my ships my In-laws purchased for my birthday but I haven't opened them yet. the heroes of the resistance, upsilon shuttle, mist hunter, and a protectorate starfighter.

asked for approval on my forgeworld stuff.

should be fun to finally play an event at the store I buy from.

allies: i hate them. there needs to be a cost penalty 10% or something

this was a fun event. I did lose my brass scorpion once to Tau in close combat.

Accept against a brass scorpion on a 4x4 table. They don't have enough to punch through armour 14 in the two turns before it eats your face.

how does Tau get around the ITC rule of only one LOW?

Yeah I threatened to finish my fire raptor so I could go with 2 heldrakes, a storm eagle and fire raptor

yeah my khornekin list with the fireraptor, storm eagle, fist of khorne, and Kytan needs 2k.

fun lists you build for ofcc work best at 2k.
