I agree with Kremmet. Any faction can have fun games against any other in a casual environment. If a certain model is causing issues for you or your spouse you can easily agree to not use that caster/beast/whatever until a later time. Also, if you are not doing it, I highly recommend using the scenarios from the Steamroller packet. Edit: I have heard grumblings from Troll players that they struggle playing against Cryx. But, Trolls have evolved a lot as a faction with the last few books and because of that I do not think the Cryx match up is as bad for them as it once was.

Thanks for the great suggestions. I meant diablo3 not 2. Was diablo 2 even on xbox360? I can not keep up with all the games. They did recommend marvel ultimate alliance at the game storw so we picked that up and are getting close to beating it. We love it and have had a blast playing it together. He is 6. Anyway, i was hoping to find another game for when we finally beat MUA and are ready to move on. Because of his age it needs to be fairly tame (Diablo is probably pushing it) and needs to have fairly easy controls.

I would assume that most people post on the PP main boards or the Muse on Minis forums or other larger and more active Warmachine/hordes sites. I am personally under the impression that Warmachine/hordes is on a huge upswing and the other systems are all dying off and or struggling to stay alive. Since switching to Warmachine 5yrs ago I have never looked back.

The Cephalyx look super cool. They may have to be my new mini faction as the look of CoC Vectors just does not appeal to me. Warbeast packs sound fun. They seem like an interesting addition.

I backed it on Kickstarter and have not regretted it at all. It is a great little game. My son (5 yr old) is still a little young for it but I am very much looking forward to playing with him in a few years. As far as expansions go I would recommend any of them. Grab the one you think looks cool or that he will be most excited to play with. I really think more is better just to keep things fresh. I have an Amalia and Percedal promo I could part with. If you were interested in trading for them send me a PM. The Line of Sight rules are a little hard to grasp. but other than that the game is really easy to teach and provides a great little Final Fantasy Tactics type experience.
