The biggest trouble some folks had was still thinking tactics like 40k and old WHF " How do I beat this army". When they should have been thinking " How do I win this Battle plan. "

I was there too. It wasn't even close to 40k.

Yes they did. One or two are different from the GHB

75 players, there were some hard list but nothing over the top. Fact of the matter when the Europeans saw our lists even the winners they were surprised how soft they were.

the players all were very nice and fun to play. though I bet more fun would have been had if beer wasn't $10 a bottle. lol

I do hope that the GHB 2 does come out before this event. Although I am a little worried that if it comes out super close to the event date, we could have players scrambling to build and paint more models as points change etc.

Should have seen OFCC 2015 the new rules for 40k came out a month before event. I don't remember but think they just use old book.

the other way hurt to many armies. some couldn't even have their generals,war machines or behemoths till turn 2 or even turn 3. then only come in at bored edge.

know what funny GA formum has folks say we all had weak list and must be beginners. lol

those are novels in audio form

you no long divide your army and bring them in between turn 1-3. now it battleline set up 9'' away artillery and behemoth set up 24 everything else 18 all at the start of game.

It's been up dated. It's diff. Now.

here's a thing. each bring one terrain piece. give rules for size. and they can be allowed to roll two dice on it(like realmgate). could be kind of fun and still keep it worth while.

was 75 one nvr showed and one vanished in the middle of event not to be heard from again. Even his friends did know what happened to him. I read and watched enough shows Vamps must have got him.

Sigh no. All I had to do to win was kill off 3 chariots on the objective and I win. so I drop my azyer in then land a unit of rets and a unit of libs down 3 ins from them and still in reckless range. rets go in and kill two of the and puts 3 wounds on the last. Thinking i got this in the bag. so i roll to charge my libs SNAKE EYES Wtf. ok ok no worries i have a reroll so I roll Snake EyEs AGAIN. no points scored loose by 2. sad very sad. end up with 17th place out of 75 4 wins 2 loses. so i can live with that.

Yer don't understand. One of the main complaints about 40k was rolling for traits and spells every game. Why bring that to AoS?

Checking getting back from LOV and got to say that ITC pairings app is awsume.

How would randomized artifacts work with multiple hero's? Would it be on a random hero as well because that could totally mess with my army since I'm running 5 hero's and it would suck to get a battle brew on my goblin shaman. Doesn't it say in the GH that you can choose your artifacts OR randomly roll them? Part of the fun is building an army with synergy, making units that by themselves wouldn't be considered strong better by supporting them with other units or abilities. If we randomize the artifacts or abliites it takes some of that away from us.

should really let us pick that way I feel like I'm making my own character and not just rolling on the chart. That's one of the things I hate about 40k is having to reroof my traits and spells every game useless .
