  1. I have 4 NoS Space wolf packs, 1 NiB Space Wolf Pack, 1 NoS Space Wolf Termie squad

25 each for the packs and 30 for the termie squad. I'm in Seattle, but I will ship.

I will also hand deliver these to Bellingham for the cost of one Potato Burrito.

  2. Deck building would help some of the lower ranked books. Chaos Marines are great at summoning things, throwing cultists in a grinder, and camping. But not moving or shooting. If they could score points for tar pitting more points than the unit is worth, they might win some games. Something like "Remain in assault with more points than your squad is worth and score 1 point. Make it 2x as much and score d3 points" and "Summon some crap, score a point". But all of the stuff in the book favors fast, shooty armies, not games of attrition, which is all Chaos really has. And it would require me to buy more crap from GW.

  3. I'm a fan of the Maelstrom. I wish they took it a bit farther and added deck building. Able to take special faction cards, kind of like Netrunner.  But I think its a good step, although the book keeping is a pain. The best tactics I've found are and things that are fast and things that can overkill a unit, I've been having success with vindicators and nurgle spawn. I can wipe out a unit if I focus all my fire then get into assault, and I can run to an objective if I need to. I haven't had good results with the camping Plague marines like I did in 6th.

  4. The support role for DE in an Eldar force seems to have gotten better. With the no scatter deep strike, cheep raiders which are now in fast attack, buff to splinter racks, and cheap warriors. Raider spam to complement your serpent spam, with a precision strike of Wraithguard, not too shabby.

  5. I ran an unbound list the other day. It wasn't super min-maxed, just a chaos list with out having to pay a cultist\nurgling tax. Worked really well, ObjSec is kinda over rated, being able to move fast and focus your fire is more important in maelstrom missions. I'm sure there are ways to abuse unbound, but none seem to be any worse than things you can do in a normal list.

  6. I think its mostly delivery methods and cost. Flamers are useful but hard to get where you need them. That and they are in the same slot as tank hunters. I never use my flamers on my marines, running from objective to objective shooting at wave serpents and big bugs. I read throw them in a Gorkanaut with all the meks. But I'm only running 1 big mek on a bike for the shield, and no walkers. I've kinda talked my self out of them, unless someone can find a must have reason or synergy.

  7. My deathwing list is pretty similar. I'm running crusaders and I run out of models. One round of bad rolls and I'm nearly tabled. The landraiders are usually still there. I'd also throw the tact squads in pods so you can land on an objective or two and start scoring turn one.The one thing DA has going for them is they are tough to shoot off objectives. Stubborn + PFG in a drop pod. Land the pod on your target and then they have to kill a 4++ pod plus your jerks. Out lasting is very hard. I'm in the process of switching my Nurgle list to unbound just for that reason. Also pods would make more sense with the melta guns. Same with the Chappy, he wants to punch people. Also maybe ally with grey knights for some better invulns on the landraiders?

  8. Off topic but:
My Riptide is an x55z-2a variant so it has a water chip, a taco wagon, and a copy of Def Leopard's 1983 classic "Pyromania". So it re-rolls wounds, moves twice, ignores cover, and you have to buy me a pizza. On a roll of a 6, I have to settle for teriyaki from the sketchy place across the street.
