The multi-rifle Black Friar went together surprisingly easily. Even with the arms overlapping at the wrist, everything was well-cut and went right into place. Time to throw some drop bears!

Update: playing in a huge tournament in a week in Iowa city. 5 round and 36 people. Yeeea Midwest people travel :p . The scenarios are safe area, transmission matrix, engineer deck, supplies and highly classified. Am going to bring my pretty typical list except double dasyu and hrl proxy mk4. Recently have kinda like the hrl a lot! And I just finished painting dasyu hacker so I want to bring her haha.
For other list it will be weird and not typical of me but will be bringing an asura hacker along with Sophie and a garuda spitfire. Trying some new tricks with that one. My goal is to learn how to play asura correctly the rest of the year as I tend to struggle with her... hopefully get the stage done and I'll post pics whenever that occurs haha. Hope all is well with everyone!

Some of you already saw some protos of it in my 'tub of doom' but looks like the final versions are finally being released! Check out on the website. Think this week it's mk1!
It's obviously similar to the other but the new designs have a ton of unique detail and there's a hole in the top with acrylic option I believe although NP can confirm that!
Side note I bought a stage before I left and have been assembling it past few days. I highly encourage some of you to grab one someday as it's super well put together and looks baller even with my lack of skills haha

unfortunately no one showed interest besides peanut and threejacks when i was starting a league back almost 8 months ago. i gave up tbh. great game but just no interest really in this area which is unfortunate as there's a lot more interest farther east ive heard....

Welp, played probably my final game of infinity here. Got a game in on Beerfinity for the first time hahaha. Nate Kapke and I decided to play engineering deck. One last showdown and I decided to give him my A-list which was MARRRRRUUUUUUUUT. Honestly, probably not the best for this mission but [big bad swear word] IT. He had a lot of his usual shenanigans. Moran FO, 4 morlocks, intruder hmg, bandit KHD, zero AHD, zero deployable repeater/ADH launcher?, moira sniper, ugh i forget their names but the MSV1 BS13 missile launcher dude, wildcat doc and the obvious interventor Lt lol. I had marut, couple rods, couple chain myrms, double nagas one with KHD, my usual proxy girl setup, KHD scylla.
I won roll and took a side to make him deploy everything first. he took first turn. he ran 2 morlocks at one netrod killing it with pistol shots. then the other netrod was a machine shrugging off a few pistols(until 3rd turn) by the same morlock each turn. I had things setup specifically to give my myrms reactions to smoke on top of the marut whenever his sniper popped up so he decided not to do that lol. instead he decide to barricade the back end of the objective room with an E/mauler, mine and... deployable repeater. I know why he put the deployable repeater there to negate marut and hackers from going in or near the objective room along with the emauler, but the deployable repeater gave me a lightbulb...
my first turn i ran scylla and bot up to kill 2 morlocks and failed to do it. then switched gears into my naga KHD to open the door to objective room. Then ran within repeater range. I kinnnnnda regret this lol. well the naga gets 3 aros. one from the AHD zero, 1 from KHD bandit and 1 from the interventor. i decide to trinity putting b2 into the interventor and 1 into the bandit. interventor crits me 'sigh'. do get the bandit i think though... but very dead naga as fails the DT from sucker punch. switch gears to scylla. knock AHD unconcsoious with maestro, then with last order i maestro the interventor through the repeater and knock it unconscious. scylla takes a shot though from the zero and falls down. worth it.
his second turn: in loss of Lt. He burns the rest of his CT to move his dak's helper to get to the downed AHD zero. takes a shot with the ML and crits the marut. lucky for me she is ARM8 and even with AP shrugs off the other 2 bullets and fail them guts to not take another haha. intruder shoots and puts a wound on the mk5 who falls prone to full cover. his tomcat comes on near the 2 morlocks. the 2 morlocks are surviving and getting deep into my left side. thank everything i have camo markers and marut nearby so im not too worried haha.
my turn 2: marut maneuvers to kill the moran. then the zero annoying repeater, ADH launching dude. wanted to climb a building with marut to shoot up some of his guys but nate kindly reminded me that morans are repeaters which i forgot lying next to the building... so i decided thats a bad idea lol. instead played cautious and went into suppression. he had 1 of the consoles i had none at this point so we had to start making the run third turn.
nate's third turn: he tapped an objective(2-0 him at this point) with the zero then he tried to bring the AHD zero into obvious position to take my marut. i discovered with marut and revealed my naga boarding shotgun in desperation to take shots at it. oh all his morlocks perished to marut suppressive fire with impetuous. i got super lucky and beat the zero in f2f and that put nate is desperation mode. tried to take a last shot with the moira and whiffed while the naga ducked down. im prrrrreettttty sure my boarding shotgun naga might be my lucky charm in most my games haha.
my third turn: moved mk2 out of hidden to tap one side. moved mk5 from other side to tap the other one. puts us tied on consoles. cloak the prone naga. run the naga behind the objective room. run it in the room to take its points.
nate and I have Im prettty sure just exchange games every time it seems! dang good player.
Gonna miss playing against everyone here. kinda hurts... ill definitely try to make ofcc each year if i can though! hope to also make it by the club on sunday to say goodbye.

It was prrrrettty darn close. Adam and Than tied the last game against each other and Evan went hulk mode to charge into the lead! Honestly this league everyone was pretty close on points with noone having lower than 8 TP! Also happy it was settled by TP cause averaging OP due to the byes is something I didnt want to math haha.
Everyone that showed up tonight got some goodies so that made me happy! Nate Kapke is pondering trying to see if people want to keep playing on Mondays and take over for me. Hoping he does as Guardian finally has some infinity terrain now haha.
My takeaway is this: ITS structure for escalation league is great. Think people worry a bit too much about the dabble in smaller points but really you play half your games at 300 and you hit 200 by week 3 so I think its pretty decent. Really like the new scenerios HS brings. Engineering deck might be my actual favorite just because it makes you think a bit about what points you go after. Tic Tac Toe is kinda fun too. Didnt get to play firefight but the panplies I heard were apparently crazy. Rescue is one we didnt actually play but I do think its intriguing. As for time, think 2 weeks seems about right but even then it seems people struggled with their schedules a bit. That will always be the challenge with the ITS league as you really cant get it to work online with more than 1 bye person per week.

Apparently there was a mix up on the factory floor one day, as I picked up a box of desperadoes that came with 2 1-wheeled bikes, 3 riders, and no additional wheels or cycle bits. It's a simple mix-up, so hopefully I won't have any trouble getting what I need sent out.
Anyone else ever have any issues like this?
had my first a few months ago. rebots which had two front right legs haha. its super easy. like i followed instructions exactly how online and i had the piece in a little over a week. they are very awesome about it.

first off, templates always give you a dodge or change facing option. -3 if outside lof (change facing). big reason for this ruling/changing in N3 is just how insanely powerful chain rifles were and guided missiles. they are still amazingly good just not stupid. but yea you always get a change facing if inside zoc or hit by a template outside lof. only time you dont get a reaction is if outside of lof, zoc and NOT a template. i say this for weapon purpose only fwiw(not talking about stealth which can negate zoc option unless they do an action besides move).
imo i think its still very powerful. change facing, as exile stated, is still an unlikely situation as most things fail. i think its a choice more than anything as it makes doing a chain rifle not an auto-do but more pending if you can get ~3 dudes in it as 2 will probably fail which would be worthwhile. otherwise pop um in the back with a regular gun outside 8 and no reaction...

Thank you, Adam, Dan, Pete (from SF), Joel, Nate R, Nate K, Isaac, Daniel, and anybody else I forgot.
I won one game. That was against Isaac and my first game. His dice were okay. My dice were on fire. I made two bonehead moves, but did a good job overall. His Swiss Guard was his MVP. My Clockmaker was mine. I played a nasty trick with my killer hacker and managed to secure the antenna field and my classified.
I played Pete and his ISS for the second game. I put him on his heels, but he went second. He had a TO n ninja TO hiden near the center antenna . On his last order, he revealed and touched the button. Meh. Seize the Antennas needs an exclusion zone, so the person who goes second goes not win the game with a TO hidden guy.
The last game was against Nate Roberts. I have never beat Nate. I did not today. He had a good plan and better rolls. The third turn was my down fall. Nagas and Daisus won the day.
I learn each time I play and played two players I had never fought against before. One day, I would like to score well against Nate R, but sadly it will have to wait. He is moving away.
agreed about the exclusion zone. i knew when nate picked second i basically lost unless i could get my sensor bot up there(couldnt thanks to atalanta besting my one option to kill her and she trapped the bot). its very 'tact-less' imo and probably my least favorite mission due to that. half the reason why i picked aleph was for doing that TO infiltration trick on that mission...
as for games. lets get one more in before i go if we can. re-do that decapitation mission to give it a fair ending...

Against Adam I missed 4 straight trinity hacks in a row.. that's 12 dice btw lol. It was pretty funny. You Than and Adam are neck and neck final week... Should be interesting!

3.5 weeks of PTO i think i can make it work haha. maybe drag some iowans with me if i can muster it.
also if CB comes out with a fantasy game. miiiiight be playing that haha.
ill try and make one last game night. probably a week from sunday is my goal.

So I'm just going to leave this here...
Taking an indefinite leave from gaming after my sunday escalation game with adam. In the meantime i'll work on my painting and hopefully that area will benefit(one can hope I suppose lol). Games should be fun and I just haven't been having that feeling lately whenever I play. I have a few ideas why, which I'll address before thinking about playing again. In the meantime I'll be stepping away from forums too, including this one. If you guys want to chat I'll check every now and then for PMs and most of you have my email/Phone/FB so feel free to contact if you want!

honestly, ive just by passed the army lists part. its hard enough getting people to accept the email invitation when you enter their PINs(which you cant start the process at all), let alone getting them to put up lists on the site. you also dont NEED the lists to submit I found out as I've never needed them before. If you check the lists beforehand you know they are legal so it doesnt really seem to matter which one they used for each game imo so that was a part ive skipped over
wait... didnt you keep the lists anyways? i know i gave you 2 copies right? anyways i think mine is posted in the blog of mine too.
I'm betting with 16 people it will be difficult to get them to all accept the invitations. I had that difficulty with the event at Guardian. Just ended up sending my excel sheet to Juan(Hell Lois) with my apologies haha.

today i played against will thompson and some USA for antenna field. i wanted to test a list out and honestly id never bring this list against USA for mannnny reasons, but testing it against something it wont excel against was probably a good way to get a feel for it! This is my new asura list(it lacks guided ML/FO shenanigans which stinks but is pretty fun). he is a pretty decent player and is the local warcor here running the event next weekend. VERY good painter as well! Think he says he plays USA right now but use to play pan-o/NCA as his first love and will be playing Yu Jing in the near future.
