figured I help out the cause, you guys seems like a great group, had fun on Tuesday playing at WoW

Sundays and Tuesdays sound like the league days, played my first match there yesterday.

Hey I'll be joining you guys at some point! I'm relatively new to 40k and shadow wars, but I got 2 armies to fight with (orks and Blood angels) at 1200-1500 points(ish)

got some shadow wars terrain I can bring too!

It's only weapons that have to match models correct? If I have added bits like grenades or scopes on the models but they actually don't have those, I'm good right?

They fall back they can't shoot or charge.  Yes the chargers now can be shot at, but unless they are wiped by those shots guess who's charging next round... I think it's a very fair balance in principle 

10 death company with 5 attacks each (assuming attacks are the same) on charge and they get to strike first, not seeing a lot survive that...

Now I'm pretty new so maybe I don't know [big bad swear word], but I have been reading a lot. It seems a melee type army will need to be mobile and high mode count units..

As someone who just got into 40k and picked Blood angels and Orks.... I'm liking the rule changes for my melee guys lol

So I'll have some terrain to add to the field for some play.  Haven't been to WoW yet (I'm new) is there lockers or something to store terrain there?

got it for 180, still a deal if you add up what everything would cost on it's own (I have a orc army and I don't have scouts yet for my Blood Angels)

Ok newb question, WoW stands for... (assume a game store)? Just gotten into the this stuff, been to GG and Red Castle. 

Also how flexible are the days for games? Wednesday night thru Saturday day are best times for me usually. (Work the other days)

I'm in for fun. Just played my 2nd 40k game so I'm pretty new to that still, but love 40k lore.  Have Orks I want to play in this.  Don't have rule book yet though

I would assume the buff to melee type armies with that charge first swing first rule.

Small forces right now but playable: Orks (700 Pts) and Blood Angels (1100ish)

Plan to keep expanding Blood angels up to 1850 then the orks next. After that a DKoK army for fluffiness 

also looking to play shadow wars and build my own garage table (got to convince wife about that one lol)

Thursday can work for me this week.  5:30 or 6 would work better most likely just because I have an appointment in Gresham at 3 to 4 and have no clue how long it will take me to get to Red Castle

Ill bring the Blood angels, I'll let you know how many point I a can muster, won't be 1850 yet, in guessing 1000ish depending how things get kitted. 1 tac, 15 DC (1 mob or 3 5 mans or what ever ) a DC dread and a Baal Pred.  Captain and D.C. Chaplin. (Basically the 2 box sets)

Sounds like a plan.  I'm down for match Friday if your interested.  I work Sunday thru Wednesday and off by 3.  Got a wife and kid so have to plan accordingly but excited to finally play.
