    1. Lyraeus. Bummer, I was looking forward to a 1,500 rematch and you teaching me ITC. Ah well, good luck man!

    2. Brandon, I can totally either play a 500 point game after a league game with you, or maybe loan you some "red space marines" to add to your army. Won't but optomized, but an option...?...

    Not sure anyone else is gunna make it due to tournament. I'm really up for whatever, but if I can get a league game in that would be ideal (with a small game after?).

    So my thought (hope) is that what I'm lacking in indirect fire I make up for with mobility. Almost everything has a jump pack and when I get to 2,000 I have stuff deep striking and moving with strategums nearly any where on the board. Goal is that there will be nobwhere to hide...?...

  5. I do, and I really like it. I'm on episode 40 or so, so a little catching up to do, but not too far back. 

    That being said, I do not have any interest in a blood angels/guard/knight list, so I've had a hard time taking a ton of advice because that has been his focus (so far at least). 

  6. Ok, a few thoughts. 

    1. Secondary objectives. Think I'd be looking at ones where you get into opponents zone and different killing ones. So I think I'm in decent shape there.

    2. Cp's is the other thing I'm worried about. I'd be starting with 8 and a plan to use 2 to get death company in opponents face right away. Cp's to split a unit in game just ain't gunna be there (i get pre game it's free). As far as needing to fill out another detachment, not enough points to do that, so I fave flexibility. 

    3. Yeah, currently if I run pure Blood Angels I run Sanguinary Guard and Death Company , and two Battalions (3 scouts in one, 3 intercessors in the other). I just really like the jet bikes and wanna try and figure out if I can make them work.

    Yeah, I haven't played a single ITC mission yet, but objectives were my concern. And agreed, death company will be getting zero objectives for me. 

    10 man intercessor, or two five mans?

    What about vanguard vets with jump packs (for mobility) and storm shields (for survivability)? With the points I have I could do 10 vanguard vets, all with jump packs, 5 with chain sword and storm shield and five with dual chainswords. 

  8. So I am thinking of building towards the following list, with the idea that when (plastic) Sisters come out I would have 3 lists to mix ajd match from (Blood Angels, Custodes and Sisters). Thoughts on this list (I'm new to list building and trying to learn, don't want to just net list)? Also, I got about 180 points left, suggestions on what to do with it?

    ALSO, I'm getting some of these jetbikes on the cheap via ebay. Anyone have the 75mm bases they'd be willing to part with?

    We had a strategy (deep strike into the base...ment… and destroy it), but deviated from the plan and suffered a significant loss to  @Tamwulf. It's gunna take a week to regroup (I'm out of town this week!), but Captain Raine has some ideas to call up The Baal Bear and some boys in gold for Week 4 (unless I can find a late make up game for Week 3). See ya all net week!

    Captain Aldo has enough AP to handle anything with seriously heavy armor. That Thunderhammer starts out at a base four attacks at WS 3+ / S8 / AP -3 / D 3. If he decides to go for broke and use the right Relic (Angels Wing) and Warlord Trait (Artisan of War) combo to enhance him, he could end up with four attack (five on the charge) at WS3+ (re-rolling 1s) / S8 (+1 to wound) / AP -3 D 4. 

    That's an average of 8.64 wounds on a friggin' Knight Castellan. Heck, if you were to throw him up against Roboute Guilliman, its an average of 4.32 wounds... and that's without springing for the "fight twice" Stratagem. 

    There is also the 1CP strategum to give him d3 extra attacks. 

    So far I've been running him with the warlord trait that has him end up with 5+ fnp, rerolling 1's, but at some point i wanna try the +1 damage weapon as you mention.
