Airbrush

I would get an inexpensive airbrush to start with.  Make sure you actually enjoy airbrushing before you make a huge investment.  I started with with this:

The needles tips are easily bent. But otherwise its serviceable.  Learn on it, then upgrade to a nice Badger later.

A Harbor Freight compresser is a good start, totally serviceable.  If you can afford one with a tank that's what you want. The tank help with pressure spikes. Just get a decent moisture trap.  Like most things the least interesting things contribute more to success than you'd think.
