Guest
COMMAND ABILITY Unending Legion: When a Chaos Lord marches to war, an ever-increasing number of followers marches in his wake, ready to throw themselves at any who oppose him. When a Chaos Lord uses this ability, roll a dice. If the result is 4 or more, set up a new Slaves to Darkness unit so that all its models are within 5" of one edge of the battlefield. This unit is added to your army as reinforcements. Normally they specify a starting models, or a more specific unit restrictions. What do I get when I use this ability? Malakithe
What I've seen so far is there are no unit size restrictions. Seraphon infantry blocks get bonuses at certain sizes too

Most free units say what you get, this one seems open ended....
Malakithe
Right. What does the warscrolls for the unit say? It does seem rather open...if you can pick their weapons and size then your just restricted by your own model count I guess. At a minimum all my summoning units have minimum unit sizes but that's it, letting me pick the weapons
Threejacks
There are a few of those abilities available to Stormcast through Battalion formations and the Time of War rules.Even though it isint specified we have been playing it as a minimum size unit. This way the game stays somewhat under control and avoids the bringing in of 50 model units every turn. I have also noted that many of these reinforcement type abilities don't specify the "9" from an enemy unit) so we are assuming that you can set up as close as 3" to an enemy unit. Malakithe
Oh really? At least the Seraphon summoning says within x' of caster and within x' of enemies. They also specify unit sizes when summoned

Malakithe
Hmm I don't have anything like that. I would assume it would be like summoning but I guess not
Guest
This guy: COMMAND ABILITYUnending Legion: When a Chaos Lordmarches to war, an ever-increasing numberof followers marches in his wake, ready tothrow themselves at any who oppose him. When a Chaos Lord uses this ability, rolla dice. If the result is 4 or more, set up anew Slaves to Darkness unit so that allits models are within 5" of one edge of thebattlefield. This unit is added to your armyas reinforcements. Slaves to Darkness is a keyword common to Warriors of Chaos. It's on infantry, monsters, heroes and even some wizards. The beastmen have that Great Bray Shaman with the following spell: SAVAGE DOMINIONThe shaman sends his mind winging intothe wilds and possesses the largestcreature he can find and bend to his will.Savage Dominion has a casting value of 9.If successfully cast, you can summon oneMonster and add it to your army. Set upthe summoned model within 6" of theedge of the battlefield and more than 9"from any enemy models. This counts as itsmove for the upcoming movement phase. Monster keyword is the only summoned unit requirement. Yeah, pretty vague.
