Threejacks
Looks like they are using the AoS School league rules for the event this year. http://warhammerworld.games-workshop.com/wp-content/uploads/ToS-Clash-of-Empires-Battleplan.pdf Ive played these rules a couple times and they are very balanced and are totally a "bring what you want" play mode. The only thing that can be a turn off is that it sets the Model count at a maximum of 30 to start with and an additional 15 for a summoning/add-in pool. Malakithe
30? That's one unit lol how would that be fun? At that point it's all hero's and monsters
Threejacks
It's designed for fast event play,1-1.5 hrs per game and smaller more varied lists. For being a GW rules set it has a fair amount of popularity in England mainly though.
Malakithe
You know what. I added up my 1800 SDK models and it actually fits lol due to being mostly stormfiends and weapon teams
