Luckily VA in Fresno was able to fix me up today. Had to wait like 5 hours but was worth it. Now if I could just get USAA to respond back about my damaged property. But ya first accident was on West Shaw near Blythe 2nd one was at Fowler/180 really close to Clovis.

Talked with one, they pretty much said not worth it. Since I am already broken from Military, and was hurt from 1st accident they could argue my injuries weren't from them.

Ya it has sucked... I am currently living in Fresno. If you have the $ to invest you could buy a house down here for $150-170,000 and probably sell it for 2-4× as much in the next few years. They are building a speed rail between here and LA which will cause our housing market to boom.

In February I was in a car accident when a semi truck decided it wanted to turn left from the far right lane. Totaled car and because my dumb ass braced broke my leg. Wasn't healing right so got pins put in. Few weeks later when I have finally started to heal and become some what mobile I go to friends to try Frostgrave (side note awesome game) on way home stupid twit doing about 50 while on her cell plowed into the back of us while stopped at a red light. So now my body just feels amazing! Girls insurance paid for car to be fixed but won't respond back about broken property or seeing a chiropractor, luckily I can go to VA for pain meds. Now to top the cake wife and I have been looking at buying a house when I can paint commissions I bring in about $5000 a month (I haven't been able to paint effectivly since first accident) so still making $4100ish a month. The banks will only count $1531 of it and the 12 lenders I have talked to have denied us in minutes because of it... b****ing over needed to vent....

Ya, I was looking for an upgrade kit as my 6 Rhinos are ebay rescues and it allowed me to cover up a lot of the bad areas on them.

Since I literally have 5 boxes at the moment I decided to put my extra HQs to good use. 1st game I used him in he did 32 consecutive shots to a Stompa and smoked it (yes with updated Moritat rules) then sadly caught a rocket to the face and rolled a 1.

Here is some of the latest things I have painted up and was lucky enough to have a friend photograph.

If the gun turret was in the front I would of had a dwarf trooper running out the back. But how it is now I imagine a pair of smoldering boots as a dwarf ran out right into a blast from the side cannon.

His job is to keep people away from the tank as he is equipped with a flamer. Also he is sitting not standing :)

I am using Norse mythology as my back story, So the dwarfs are basically my Ad-mech. I have already made Tyr, Thor, and Odin HQ models and have plans for several more. Like Ullr (bow God) as a vindicare assassin, Baldur as a Contemptor Dreadnought, and Loki as Cypher.

So this is my first time really doing any large scale conversions. I didn't like the exposed treads as I thought why have 1 of the more vulnerable parts of a tank exposed like that? Then the army I am working on is a Norse Mythology themed techno barbarian army. Since in Norse lore dwarfs were the master smiths of the Gods I found it fitting that they would be the tank builders/operators for my army. Other than that, used the hairspray technique and my airbrush to paint this guy up. Kind of happy with how the hairspray and salt turned out, some spots it is pretty meh, when I got the tank it was missing 1 of the turret parts so I decided instead of waiting to find a replacement I would make use of my dwarf cannons and used them with a sawed plastic bottle and AoS shield to make new side turrets. In the future I am planning on adding more of the blue to the tank. I think coming up from the side and over the top around the large shields would break up the white a bit. Then once I actually learn how to use it properly I want to add some weathering pigments to it as well.

Saw an easy conversion that looked really nice using fantasy dwarf bodies and skitarii back packs and guns.

Photos don't do it great justice, but every tree/walkway/boxes/stump/fallen tree blocks sight on your average height 1-2 model. I want to try and find some small fishing/row boats I can break up and have wrecked as well as some tall grass for later.
