My son and I really enjoyed the game. We're Dempsey and Yedlin fans, so that was nice. We also loved watching Spurs, since they are our favorite English club. We even followed their bus back the Four Seasons, and my son and daughter got their picture taken with Lamela and Holtby. Good times!

Rues is great, but I disagree with calling him Germany's best player. Phil Lahm and Mesut Ozil are both better players, IMO.

Any of you comic book guys have a Magneto helmet around that I could borrow for a costume? My nephew is having a graduation costume party, and I want to go as Sebastian Shaw, a la First Class. The ascot and scotch tape on my nose aren't enough.

I just changed to a new position that I knew would push my comforts, and it has. I'm only in the second full day, and the challenges are definitely making me anxious...I'm just looking forward to a few months from now when I have everything dialed in. Also, the family is all sick, and tired of being sick, which makes them not fun to be around. I just wished everyone in my house felt good for once.

I think Iron Man 3 was much better than it gets credit for. The Amazing Spiderman (reboot) was waaaay better than the prior three. First Class was great, but I'm pretty fond of Michael Fassbender...I might be biased.

Avengers sucked donkey balls. Watch it again with a critical eye. It's terrible.

I watched Man Of Steel for the second time flying back from New York last week...I still liked it and I think it is a good movie. Did you guys really watch it with an open mind? Or were you biased because you think DC sucks? I'm very much looking forward to the Superman vs. Batman movie. It is a shame how poor the Green Lantern movie was...it could have been great. I'd like to see a Gotham By Gaslight movie.

First let me say I find nothing more enjoyable than going to Spike. However, I am in a real pickle this year. First, my 15th wedding anniversary is that weekend, and my wife requested that weekend off in case we went somewhere. Also, my wargaming desire is at an all time low, and I'm not really feeling it. Couple this with the fact that many of you are senators and the OFCC is the following weekend....I guess what I'm asking is: are we going this year? With the right motivation I could probably acquire my desire back, and I could convince my wife to delay a weekend if necessary. Real talk; Dan, Mark, Travis, Shane, Eric, Dave, et al...what are we doing this year?
