INAT died a dog's death because it was a grossly-overreaching document full of personal bias. Every complaint you have against the ITC FAQ was twice as bad in INAT.

 

The only thing I wanted in 40k was to go to the finals in hard boyz and I did.

Yep Jon put together a great team of people and wrote the inat. It was awesome. The ITC does similar things but in a less professional less overreaching way. I think both were great for tourney 40k. Like I said before if you don't like it avoid those events. Like I avoid Hanaurs events

I don't have a problem with it either. Heck I finished last at TSHFT in January. I had fun games but the lack of terrain allowed people to blow up my 6 tall models which was the majority of my army. People want 5th edition power level type games and this was why ITC was created.

The problem isn't with 40k. It is with the players. I can play Fluger type people everyday in a no holds barred environment. The problem is there are cocks who pick based solely on power of units and make it no fun. ITC is there to limit the jerks. Just like sportsmanship and comp was back in 3rd.

I like itc attempt to keep 40k playable. It is like when the INAT was floating around. Some people just hated it but it made sure everybody knew what game they were playing. So if I went to Chicago or Tampa or San Francisco, the game was the same.

Yep if you don't like the rulings don't play in itc events. I don't play in hanaur land because I like taking my forgeworld.

I bit the bullet earlier this year and bought a chaos knight and a Kytan. Their shipping costs are not to bad but it wouldn't be hard to get to 100 gbps. I am resisting ordering more since I have so much unpainted resin currently

I have 100 berzerkers 40 letters 24 crushers 60 cultists. 2 grinders 1 defiler lord of skulls great brass Scorpion anggrath 8 corn dogs 12 bikers 3 thirsters 3 princes 1 blood slaughterer 1 decimator 1 storm eagle that is most of it.

So the knight and walking khorne dozer puts me close to 250 so I might as well push over the top
