Here are the boxed armies.  These are full of mostly unclipped sprues and metal vehicles.  Not pictured is another pile of boxes for the Tyranid army.

Maybe now is the time to finally admit that you really do want to stop round-basing! 

The lack of new stuff and tweaks to the rules means that the Dwarves were just fine and only needed minor adjustments to bring them up to date. I like the look and feel of the book!

They are too sleek for a fantasy setting, almost elfish.

 

Says who? Dwarves are the engineering masters and artisans of any material. Who's to say that the pointy eared, skirt wearers didn't learn how to construct sleek lines and curves from them!

I'm not sure where to begin with this one? Like I said, I have lots of figures and sprues for each army. There's way more than I want to figure out the cost for. How about $350 for all of it?

I have Drills this weekend too but will most likely stop by and chit-chat for a bit as usual.

As far as I can tell, that is a pretty solid rumor.  That change alone will add a new and awesome dimension to the Hammerers.

Elves, any type, being T3 and very fragile have a pretty steep learning curve. You will need to master the movement phase in order to do well with them and not be frustrated.  Also, the Wood Elves (dirty, hippy elves) are do out soon.  That might be another option if you are still interested in Elves.

I'm cleaning out my gaming closet and came upon a box that I had not opened in probably 12 or more years.  Inside are a ton, and I do mean ton, of Epic figures.  I have all of the armies: Eldar, Orks, IG, Space Marine, Squat, Tyranids, Chaos Marines w/ Daemons, plus the Titan Legions.  Some of the stuff is painted but most is still NOS or NIB. 

 

Not sure what I would even ask for the lot but thought I would see if anyone is interested and go from there.  If nobody wants then I will put up on Ebay and see what happens.  Thanks,  D

I already sent an email to GW customer service voicing my concerns & displeasure. For the good it will do...

Since GW clearly only understands the almighty dollar, I hope very few of the new models are purchased till the book is released!

I think it is a better bet the Rangers will be rare Gamer

I haven't played or looked at Dwarves in years so I completely forgot about the Rangers. Good call on that. It would make sense for Dwarf Ramgers to be Rare.

Interesting that the Thunderer/Crossbowmen box set is both Core and Rare. So are crossbows core and Thunderers Rare? It would be pretty lame if the Empire has better shooting now!

Yes, definitely interested. I've been collecting Chaos Dwarfs for a long while now and am always looking for more. Especially looking for Hobgoblins.
