I'm sure we're looking at $175 for the kit minimum (similar to a baneblade). And you have to pick which one you want (separate boxes containing only a couple of options).

Were I ever in the market for some, I'd think I'd go volcano + flamer then mount battle cannons for extra range. I'd also go House Raven because who doesn't want to constantly move and fire your weapons!

Sorry if this sounds super narcissistic but every time I see my picture of those tac Marines, the more I like how they turned out. They just worked out really well, even with the mistakes I made.

Yeah, I have those too but I painted them so long ago that they look a bit rougher than the current set paint wise.

So I'm not going to say that scouts are my favorite models to paint but generally I'm not happy on how they go together. You don't really have many options putting them together and their heads are atrocious. However they aren't as bad as some I've done in the past (3rd edition land speeders and bikes, blech) so only doing 5 wasn't too bad.

I really like how the capes turned out and I think the sniper rifle work well to break up the model. And it's something different than just red and black.

Any chance you have a picture of the BA dice? I may have a BA dice problem, you see...

Heh, that wasy BA. It was a disaster for me. Only had two games where my deep strike actually worked for my termies. The last one had all three squads land with no mishaps and they all did the business.

Anyway I can vouch for the guy being a good player for any team. Definitely give this guy a chance!

Some people are slightly screwed if they use first turn charges most. Infiltrating scouts being a possible work around (especially CCW ones). BA are definitely geared for first turn charges but I think 2nd/3rd turn charges are what everyone has to play now. Expect a lot of death company returning in force (3x squads of 15) for their ability to get an extra movement before the start of battle. With a CP boost for detachments, I see this being very popular.

If I opt out of reinforcements (I.E. play all units on the table), all my assault units are essentially free to be focused down by everything else. So basically a slight return to 7th in some regards.

Only have the sisters and the wolf guy left. Let me know if you have anything to trade. I definitely want to help wolfy mcwolfface find a home. The sisters, I'm okay if those don't go as they are still useful.

Blood bowl seemed like it was easy enough to get into but I guess someone wanted to make it even easier. Good ideas even if the depth isn't all there (for SMA that is).

Using the Japanese only sculpts were a good idea IMO. Makes it so you can possibly get them outside of Japan without the ebay fees.

It's about the same size as a custodes (but standing on a rock so...) from all the pics I've seen.

I like my army's position better this year versus last year but I am still on the fence about attending. The people were great, but my matchup was...interesting.
