  1. I will point out that, according to the FAQ, a "regenerated" Drop Pod is not allowed to Deep Strike.
  2. Yeah, I feel like that last one needs a little more "get out and get it" presence. A Drop Pod would be an option, but so would Scouts from a CAD/Allied- Infiltrate is pretty good for parking butts on objectives in the early game.
  3. I don't believe it does, as the Infernum Razorback is a different unit from the Razorback (just as the Land Raider Achilles is a different unit from the Land Raider.) It's not something currently addressed in any FAQ I'm aware of, though, so you might just put it to the TO.
  4. That has already strongly been implied to be the guy who founded the Incubi temples. The red armor wouldn't really match with that very well, and it doesn't look at all like he's got Mandiblasters or anything of the sort (which would be odd if he's their Phoenix Lord.)
  5. So that implies the "Eldar historical/mythological figure", then. Hmm.
  6. I am moderately certain that you wouldn't be able to take them as "troops"- the headings in the detachment that talk about what units you are allowed to take are more labels of convenience than anything. Bikes would be a "FA" choice regardless. Whether they respawn or not is a bit less clear; I think you can make an argument for it either way. My intuition would be that they could, however. Is this really what we're calling her now? Does this mean that Greyfax is, what, Peorth? And Cawl is Keiichi?
  7. Autarch seems like the only reasonably-likely possibility. Doesn't fit with any of the "missing" Phoenix Lords, too heavily armored to be a Farseer.
  8. I think there's a lot of good stuff in AoS, but at the same time shifting 40K over to it would be a huge money-loser for GW, which makes it unlikely. I also think AoS has problems of its own, just ones that people aren't as aware of/concerned about because it doesn't get the same kind of attention that 40K does.
  9. So here's something really stupid: Coteaz as per the Agents of the Imperium version grants Objective Secured to all non-vehicle units in his detachment. Yeah.
  10. Can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to. It's not even optional- so long as a Gemini is alive, you HAVE to put wounds that Celestine suffers on it. Wasn't Celestine S4/T4 previously? I don't remember offhand, but I vaguely recall she was. Cawl and Celestine are both pretty tough to kill, but not outside of what current armies can manage. A volley or Grav, or enough S6, or whatever will still drag them down. Being able to sub them in for other detachments is cute, but probably won't get used a lot. Cawl's bonus canticles are good, but there's a lot of good options for canticles already and the text would seem to indicate you can't pop two at once (it's just three extra options in addition to the others you have.) The invuln is potentially pretty good as a way to fight armies with extensive Ignores Cover, but since it only goes to a 4++ it's not gonna stop a huge amount of firepower. The "super ultra mega detachments" look kinda bad. They all have really high minimum requirements and don't really open up many options that you couldn't already do. Interesting ideas, but I doubt they're gonna pull anyone away from available builds, especially because many of them are actually pretty restrictive with what you can take. Relics are interesting. We may see some use of them, since there's a couple gems in there, but the requirements to access them are a bit strict.
  11. Yeah but people really, really, really, REALLY want it to happen. That makes the rumors more plausible! And by "rumors" I mean "somebody thought it would be nice and that was taken to mean it was obvious that was what GW was doing." Because, I mean, just look at the way the game is going right now- it's obviously leading into AoS.
  12. The Changeling/Herald of Tzentch in a clamp pack wouldn't be unexpected. It's also pretty plausible they will make Blue/Brimstone Horrors or one of the other greater daemons.
  13. I'm pretty sure this formation was already released, actually. I remember seeing this before.
  14. Just don't ever charge with him (or get charged.) Bam, problem solved.
  15. The Deep Strike rules explicitly state "in that turn's assault phase." If you have a way to show up on the enemy turn, you can launch the assault once yours comes around.
  16. I suspect it will be a slightly-differenter version of the War Convocation, probably one with more strings attached and worse rules for no apparent reason.
  17. Imma do it. Shaylynn and Richard are coming as well.
  18. Hmm. Not having wings on the Prince is gonna hurt. I don't see any obvious issues aside from that, though.
  19. But the Sanguinor can charge it, batter his wimpy little fists uselessly against it, and then die to the first Str D swing from its blade. It's good to remember that. He's a hero, you know.
  20. I guess we're getting a third, more-differenter kind of wolves.
  21. Oh, sure, I'm being facetious- despite all of the chatter, there's still no real sign of anything resembling a plastic release for SoB that everyone was raving about, and the nominal inclusion in the supplement could easy easily be a half-assed patch like BA and IG got in their respective campaign supplements.
  22. Not all assumptions are equally valid.
  23. I mean if you're just counting a particular model, the Rhino has been in plastic for years now.
  24. Huh, okay, so units of a single model are ALWAYS considered to be "at half strength" so long as they are in play. Interesting. That's probably mostly on me for misreading/misinterpreting things.
