Has anyone checked out the expanded Kill Team rules created by Heralds of Ruin? Reading them, they seem very cool, and they've added campaign rules as well. Anyone interested in writing up some Kill Teams and trying these rules out?

lol. That's awesome. And sad.

Would anyone be interested in a game of Chaos in the Old World? I'd love to find 3 other people to play so we can do the full game. Yesterday was my birthday, and it would be a great birthday present if I could find 3 people to play against. :)
Otherwise I'll probably bring 1850 of Imperial Guard or Space Marines.

Like I said earlier, I'm definitely down to play Blood Bowl.

I may be running late.

A little over six hours to the meet-up and still no post? Odd.
Anyways, I will be bringing 1850 of my newly painted Imperial Guard out for their first test run.

I'd totally be interested in getting in some Infinity games. I don't know what the Operation Icestorm campaign entails, but I might be interested if its not going to be months. I've got so many models to paint...
Also, I found out that the old Anocetti's Workshop infinity stuff is still being sold through a company called Warsenal. I was wondering if anyone who plays Infinity would be interested in pitching in towards picking up some of Anocetti sci-fi cars for the store, to replace the 20th century cars that are currently in the store's Infinity terrain box. For $60 we could get 2 Anomalas, 2 Bulaboks, 4 Bayakan Bikes, 4 Eco Kuripots and a Tucuxi Evora. I figure if 6 people (and there are at least 6 of us who play Infinity) each pitch in $10, we could have a fleet of cars to go with all the other sci-fi scenery we've got. I'd be happy to cover the painting duties, it'd give me a chance to work on painting reflective surfaces.

I'm afraid you won't. My aunt and uncle are visiting my mom and they are driving up to Bellingham to take me out to dinner. I thought it was supposed to be tomorrow night, but it's tonight, which means I can't make it. Sorry for the late notice.

I'll be there for 40k around 6pm, as usual. I see Miles said he'd be around for 40k, but if he doesn't show I'll play that Troyes game with you Sherbert. Let's hope the Greeks don't invade as we're playing.
Want to do
15001850 points? -
Sorry Sherbert, you lost me at "very mathy." :)
I believe I will bring a 40k army.
-
I'll be around for 40k or any board game that anyone want to try out or play with a group. Be down there around 6pm like usual and I'll see who's interested.
Since it looks like Jake won't be down tonight, I'll play you some 40k. I'd like to test out the army I'll be playing against Jake, so 1500 points?
EDIT: Nevermind, Jake is going to be there.

I am sensing a Brenden Fraser come back here folks :D

D'oh! I suddenly have a sinking feeling I'm never going to get a chance to play Conan with my own game...
I'd love to join in, but I have a 40k game scheduled.
-
Bloodbowl doesn't take nearly as long to play as Mordhiem or 40k, so we could probably get two games in per night, so maybe do alternating weeks? Or set up a playoff schedule so everyone doesn't have a game scheduled every night of the season?

I'd be interested, though it'd be dependent on how long the season will last.

That is absolutely fantastic! Incredible work and great detail, down to the feathers on the chestplate-Aquila and on the wings of the Chaplain's crozius. This is an amazing 50th attempt, let alone a first attempt. I presume the paintings are of the occupants of the tank? Is this a Land Raider for your command squad?
One suggestion - on the Captain, the upper body is outlined in black, which makes it stand out nicely from the background of the tank. The legs look like they haven't been outlined yet, and fade into the tank more than the torso. If this isn't just an artifact of the photography, I'd suggest adding some darker outlines on the legs.
I really hope this is something you're going to continue throughout the army, because the effect is stunning!
The marine is Armadeus Darkwind, the founder of my chapter. The chaplain is just a generic chaplain, but this Land Raider is supposed to be my chaplain's dedicated transport.
I think I will go back and add a little more outlining to the legs as you suggest.
And yeah, I have two Valks I've got to get painted up for my IG, and I found some hilarious 40k themed pin-up art to use as nose art.

So this is my first ever attempt at doing freehand on a tank:
What do you guys think?

...but his impression is that it's a game, with its low model count, that will be more accessible to beginners.
Hah. Clearly he's not read the rulebook.

Hey Miles,
I'll take you up on that 40k action. I'll bring my Wolves with a fluffy and fun list and we'll have some fun. I'll be there around 6pm.

Sounds good!

Ya need any bitz? I know a guy...
Good lord, no. I have pounds of Ork Bits.
-
I'm bringing 1000 points of Orks who want to stomp someone's face in. But will probably die. Would love a challenger.
I might also bring the new Conan boardgame as a back-up if I can't find someone to play 40k.

Heralds of Ruin Kill Team Rules
in Bellingham Warhamsters
Posted
Oh, I wasn't suggesting a campaign, just playing some one-off games to try the rules out. Honestly, I would rather not do a campaign. I can field a kill team for Space Marines (Regular and Chaos), Eldar (Regular, Dark and Harlequin), Orks, Tyranids, Imperial Guard, Militarum Tempestus, Sisters of Battle, and Tau. A lot of those I've never played. A campaign would mean playing the same team over and over, and I'm more excited about getting to try out a different army every game.
I might want to do a campaign in the fall or next winter, give myself plenty of time to write up something really cool and build some terrain, objective models, etc. for it.
