Alright, here's my proposed Orlock gang the Hoodlum Kings: https://yaktribe.games/underhive/gang/hoodlum_kings.216742/
I erred on the side of over-equipping because every time I go cheap in Necromunda, I feel like nobody gets anything done.

Can't say I'm 100% caught up on how the new necromunda rules have evolved. Will this campaign be using tactics cards?
Good question. I don't think we've addressed that matter yet.

I'm chiefly interested in Orlocks; they've always been the ones I've liked the flavor of the most (though if I could get my hands on a full gang of the classic Delaques, when they were just regular bald dudes in trench coats, I'd love to use those. But the Orlocks are more accessible.)
Orlocks are a lot of fun. I'm always happy to see more representation from the House of Iron.
I also like the old "1970's flasher" Delacque models. I think Burk played them in the Before Times, and they looked great on the table. The only thing to consider is their built-in loadouts are fairly basic under the new rules--shotguns, autoguns, etc.--so they'll be hard to build with the weird optimized Delacque weapons (like webguns & grav) that came out for the current edition. Just a thought, but obviously choose your own adventure (TM).
Orlocks, on the other hand, are a gang that can still flourish with fairly basic loadouts like shotguns, autoguns, etc.

Nice. Thanks for looking at that.
De nada. I hadn't seen those rules before. They look really thematic and fun.

If you (or I) have a Cawdor gang, but no leader, can the gang still use Articles of Faith? Any ganger can use an article in a Path, but you pick the Path when you recruit your leader. Asking for a friend...
Okay, I just looked over the rules. From what I can see, that's an easy fix where we can just have you choose the Path during gang creation. We can even say your leader did that before he (or I guess she) went off to work behind the scenes. As long as any ganger can use the Articles of Faith without a leader present, there should be no problems (from what I can see).

I haven't read the Cawdor book, but this is an excellent question. Before we commit to the "no leader" rule, we should evaluate whether any gangs would be unfairly penalized by it.

Did I do this right?
Yeah, everything looks good from what I can see. Yikes. My Orlocks will be doing a whole lot of running away if they ever run into your Ogryns.

@ninefinger and I played a re-learning game at WOW last night. Orlocks vs. Goliaths. It's probably the most killy game of Necromunda I have ever played. So much freaking fun.

I'll play some games. I'll be rolling with the House of Iron.

This is exciting stuff, Scotty. Thanks so much for setting it up with @ninefinger. I always love your in-universe flavor text. You have a really good ear for that stuff, and it's always entertaining.

I'll be hanging out tonight with WarCry plus Grey Knights for Kill Team, although I have no idea how the new rules work.

Heard about this place from some new acquaintances. I was hoping to find a 2k pt 40k game since it will be my first time checking the place out!
Welcome aboard! I haven't played 40K since 8th edition, but I hope you get a good game in.

I'll be bringing Castle Ravenloft boardgame, played it last week with 2 players and it was really fun. Would like to try it with 3 or 4 players
I'd be into that. I've been on a raging gothic horror jones lately. Along similar lines, if anybody wants to play Fury of Dracula at some point (dope hidden movement game), I would be so down.

Heading over with WarCry and eagerness for board-ish games like Jay.

I probably won't be able to make it because my D&D game got shifted to this evening, but I'm planning on coming back next week.

My D&D game got shifted to this Tuesday, so I can't make it; however, I'll be back on Tuesday next week. Hope everyone has fun.

Or if @Jay wants to do Cursed City, I'd be totes down for that too.

There for all the WarCry or just hanging out with cool peeps.

Hey Josiah, it's Conrad. It was nice meeting you too and I plan on being there next Tuesday!
Sounds great, man. Have a good weekend.

Sweet, then I will be there.
This is Conrad, right? It was nice meeting you, and I hope you come back for more games soon. I've been paring down my collections a lot lately (just went through a really huge move). I still have a bunch of unpainted Cawdor gangers from Necromunda that I'm sure I will never do anything with. They are yours for totes free no BS if you want them. Check out their aesthetic and see if you like them. It's kind of a medieval-executioner-meets-Bloodborne kinda vibe.

Oh I see. I’m out for a week and Josiah comes out to play. Boo. 😉
I'll be back next Tuesday! Hope you're having a good time at the coast. I'd love the kick the tires on Cursed City some time soon if you're up for it. Still haven't checked it out.

This house guide for Eschers is also extremely helpful for building a gang: https://www.goonhammer.com/necromunday-houses-of-the-underhive-escher/
The new models--Death Maidens & Wyld Runners--are included in that guide, but there's tons of helpful theorycrafting stuff about the basic gear that comes on the standard Escher sprue.
