I work swings monday through friday So weekend events are what works for me. But if a moderator wants to pin this topic or make a prettier one I think it'll do us all good to know our options. Especially with book 2 dropping this year.

Sorry i couldn't stay, I'm hoping to swing by this saturday to get my zombies and maybe get a practice game in if you'd like. 

After a couple days and talks i thought i'd make people aware of AoS days at certain stores. If you know of other stores throw it in the comments so we can get a more accurate picture of the gaming here in Portland and Vancouver. 

Sundays

12pm-6pm there is the Fate and Fury league

$15 buy in with 3 winners at the end of the month.

I hadn't been watching it but i can't put it down now that i have gotten it. It does a great job on viking lore and the RPG choices are outstanding. Played 3 hours before i found out you can do non-lethal damage and had to restart. 9/10. Only gripe is sometimes it crashes, from what i hear it happens to a few. 

Expedition Vikings is amazing and on sale. The lore is spot on and the rug element amazing

OFCC 2018 is my aspirational goal to keep me on task, painting and building my orcs and not falling down the Eighth Edition rabbit hole.

I just started AoS last month and im painting my sylvaneth and my buddies emperorers children for ofcc. Luckily i have a pregnant fiance at home to handle simple tasks for me.

I don't see a difference, or the point. Especially when the discount is applied in store for league members only. 

I don't know what i am "officially". All i know is people are having fun at the league and enjoying the atmosphere.

Discount looks great and I hate look a gift horse in the mouth, but I wouldn't want Fate and Fury getting in trouble with GW.

Not sure how, but its how they do it. On products in stock and ordered.

First league day was amazing. We had 4 players show up representing sylvaneth, chaos warriors, seraphon and the undead hordes.

Do we know what armies or factions are showing up? 

I'm excited, i just have to paint my full army still and my buddies Horus Heresy army. 

I'm pretty excited, the more i try AoS the more i kick myself in the ass for not getting into it sooner. I picked sylvaneth based on the models, always wanted to do a cherry blossom paint scheme. Now i'm learning their rules and how they play. The teleporting thing seems really cool and interesting. 

Id rather not part it out. The lot ( not including the zombies, brettonian knights, blood knights, and the heroes minis nagash and manfred) clocks in at 941 brand new. Which means im selling this whole lot at a 30-40% percent retail price. 

Someone could buy it and part it out probably for more cheddar. I just dont have that patience and just want it gone.

The army for sale as mentioned. 

from my count i have 80 zombies, 30 skeleton warriors, 45 grave guard and all kinds of other dead and semi dead [big bad swear word]. 

So for zombies and skeletons i fall short of my expected 200-300 number. 155 is what my brain tells me at the moment.

I was going to post a WIP shot of Japino's tower but my phone wont even send stuff by wifi right now. Its being built off of a Pringels can. Special mini  on the 24th for the first person to guess what flavor.

I was really into vampire counts in 8th. I have a huge lot i just want to get rid of. If anyone knows anyone that wants a death army stupid cheap tell them to hit me up

updated the first post, discount is pretty nice. Look forward to hopefully seeing a few of you this sunday or in the coming sundays. 

Let me do a model count of both skeletons and zombies. I'm sure i have 200-300

I didn't know wow did sunday fantasy. Every sunday i've gone it was infinity and horus heresy. 

This doesn't replace WOW. with it being around noon people can do a quick game for  the league, get a nice discount for some new models and then swing over to WOW.

I would but i'm still collecting an army. I'm building my 2000 point sylvaneth force for ofcc. Picked an army based on models and i'm learning now they are not the simplest force to play. But i like my paint scheme so i'm happy.
