Dark Elf Dreadlord on Dark Steed - separate pieces?

Hi guys, 

 

Does anyone have this model:

I'm wanting to use the Steed for my Sorceress, wondering if the rider and mount are totally separate, or if there are legs attached to the mount, etc.?

I don't believe so. I am sure it is like the CO heros where the legs are apart of the horse.

 

Besides it would be cheaper to hit ebay and get one of the new Chariot horse that are sold by bit sellers. I think I saw one for $8 or $10 the other day. Going to make one myself.

The horse is separate and very nice. It would work very well for your sorceress.

 

I made one recently as a hero using the cold one knight legs and they fit very nicely. I'll bet that glade rider legs would also work well for an unarmored look.

 

The new chariot puller steeds are particularly nice as well. I just finished making a sorceress mounted on one of them. I have seen it done with the supreme sorceress on dragon legs, and I did mine with witch elf legs.

Thanks guys great info, and Glade Rider legs sound like an interesting option.  I will look into it!
