Guest
A few things to verify: 1: I cannot summon while inside a transport, even with a fire point or while open-topped. 2: I do add to the warp charge die pool with all psykers on the table, and in transports, even if said transports lack fire points. 3: Summoned units behave normally once summoned (as per deep strike limitations). 4: Summoned units cannot be dispelled on later turns. 5: Summoned units are not considered psychic powers, psychic, or psykers (beyond their normal profile). Guest
So, I could take a bunch of psykers in buildings/vehicles, and just sit there generating the charges, while yet another psyker did any actually summoning...?

Guest
Oh, last, one, how do ally levels play into this? What about detachment rules? Like, in example, if a daemon herald warlord summons daemons, can the summoned daemons benefit from his warlord trait?
AbusePuppy
3: Summoned units behave normally once summoned (as per deep strike limitations). Correct on all points, with one small clarification: a conjured unit cannot cast any conjuration psychic powers the turn it arrives (nor are dice added for its Mastery Level the turn it arrives), though it is free to cast any other powers that it knows. Also good to remember: units created during the psychic phase cannot join or be joined by Independent Characters, as that can only occur during the movement phase. If they're Bros with your Warlord, they can benefit from his Trait, if not, no. They are not considered to be part of any particular Detachment, and will not gain Detachment bonuses. (Does it matter if summoning psyker is part of a detachment that grants objective secured to troops?)
WestRider
Objective Secured is a Detachment Bonus, so no, because they are not part of any Detachment, they will not have it.
