Xavier319 Posted August 20, 2015 Report Share Posted August 20, 2015 I dunno if this has been answered previously, but can you join an IC to the assault marines or hte devs in a skyhammer formation for hte first turn deep strike? how about to something like strike force ultra? AbusePuppy Posted August 20, 2015 Report Share Posted August 20, 2015 It's generally accepted to be legal to join the IC to any of the formations/detachments that start in reserves, and thus benefit from any special rules they have regarding arrival (e.g. showing up turn 1 via Skyhammer.) However, other special rules for the formation are generally accepted to not apply to attached ICs, including Skyhammer's Relentless/assault when Deep Striking. Agreement on the matter isn't universal, but it is reasonably widespread and ITC has made an official ruling on the subject, which essentially seals it for most tournament players.
