Hamelin and Blight

Blighted +1: At the end of the Turn, increase this Condition's value by 1.

So, at the end of the turn, the Blighted +1 becomes Blighted +2. At the end of the next turn, does Blighted +2 become Blighted +4?

Or rather, does the "1" increase have any relation to the Condition Value?

Second Question, Beyond Hamelin and a few others which have abilities which specifically affect blighted models, does the blight actually do anything? Obviously, the above makes it clear that the value will keep getting larger, but it doesn't list any damage or side effects.

Or rather, if my opponent can't do anything with blight, should I be concerned if one of my models attains the blighted condition?

Correct on both, Blighted +1 becomes Blighted +2 etc. It does nothing on its own

So, just to be extra clear, blighted for 5 turns would be +1, +2, +4, +8, +16

Or would it be +1, +2, +3, +4, +5...?

"Blighted" is a condition. "+#" is the current level of blighted. Each turn, you add on to the blighted level. so 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4 etc. You do not double the blighted level each turn.

I figured out where I was getting confused. It's the 1 without the +

Was thinking it was

Blighted +1: At the end of the Turn, increase this Condition's value by +1.

But, it is instead

Blighted +1: At the end of the Turn, increase this Condition's value by 1.
