jjLP147
I am bringing about 1250 points of Eldar next week and am looking for an adversary! I'm not a big stickler for following the point values exactly so just bring something in the ballpark. First come claims the game. I'll be getting to DT around 1815 or so. JMGraham
I've got a game lined up already for next week, but I'm sure someone will take you up on it. On Sunday or Monday someone usually posts in the "Game Night" forum (http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/forum/3-game-night/ ) and folks will often chime in and arrange games then, as well. J Do you play to the missions (maelstrom preferred) or just roll dice and kill? I'd be down for a game but I'm very prone to sacrificing units to gain mission points. Want to make sure we start close to the same page as I weed through my multiple thousands of points in Marines :)
jjLP147
Sorry... I don't have data cards and didn't see the Eldar deck least time I was in the store. I can only play eternal war or death match unless I find the deck. Or I can roll D66 for objectives and play maelstrom (>_>) I'm willing to do that! VonVilkee
I'm cool with eternal war missions :). Couple other questions, hate gotcha moments no matter the side, how do you feel about drop pods, and do you field a wraith knight?
jjLP147
Drop pods should be fine. I have a squad of Swooping Hawks, which is sort of comparable. I am not planning on fielding a wraithknight EVER hahaha at least not in the forseeable future. Too much cheddar and I don't want to be THAT (ELDAR) GUY. VonVilkee
Perfect! I'll totally play up to that level but I prefer to pick cool in my head units over the "necessary" ones! Looking forward to getting the game in. I'll be the guy with purple khorne berserker headed Marines

VonVilkee
Sat down with my books and wrote up a list... 5 drop pods... 47 Marines organized into 3 full strength Tactical squads with two packing plasma guns on packing a Meltagun and the Sargents packing matching combi weapons, a full strength devestator squad 4 heavy bolters, and seven assault marines packing 2 flamers. All five squads in drop pods. With my favorite modeled captain these are a battle demi company so every single model here is objective secured. I also have the angels of death book which has a slight modification to a big detachment by adding a single thunder fire cannon to the above I get a sternhammer which allows me to reroll misses with Bolter weapons at all ranges. Love my iron warriors using imperial fist rules i do :)
