Fix Posted May 14, 2016 Report Share Posted May 14, 2016 I am confused by the whole "companion app" thing, because if it does the dungeon master stuff, isn't it basically just a self-contained board game app? Is a physical copy even necessary? Edit: Checked out the tutorial and yep, a physical copy is needed. This is a weird program. It just tracks and displays which creatures/characters have acted yet, the rules of said creatures, where things are on the board, etc. But it doesn't actually track stats or damage or anything. It's like it's a shell of what could be a good video game version of Descent, but then they just pulled back and didn't make it all the way.
