Guest
Finally got a PC. Been about 4 years without a reliable PC, since my last PC died and I determined it was just too much work. Been using the PS4's internet and my cell for most posts. Anyway, been out of the loop for all things PC. Which anti-virus programs work? PC came with McAfree by default. Is that enough? It's a windows 10 PC.
Romans832
2 Trains of though... 1: Find a free one (AVG has been rated best free one for a number of years) 2: Don't worry about antivirus, program Windows 10 to do all the work with Defender and run with it. Wife has AVG & has never had issues I'm running default 10 with all of it's settings: Defender and never had issues (knock on wood) Biggest thing is: surf smart and keep patched. Guest
Windows defender is good now? I'm recalling Vista's Windows Defender and it wasn't very good.
Andrewgeddon
I've used Bitdefender in the past and was very happy with it. However, I've been sticking with just Defender now (Windows 7) for several years, never had any issues. Like @Romans832 says, surf smart. It helps that I don't keep anything I'm worried about losing stored on my PC, and anything I don't want to lose backed up.
