I went to the OFCC a boy; when I woke up Monday morning, I was a man.

Thanks all - I take it that it's okay if I bring a chariot base to sit on / measure from?
Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding. Thanks!

This is my war shrine. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
I would like to bring it to the OFCC. Problem is, it's footprint is larger than the standard war shrine base. In my casual-weekly games I always play to my disadvantage (more attacks can be brought against it, easier to hit w/ templates, etc.) and bring along an extra base just in case. When set on the standard base, the wheels hang off a bit (wider).
Will this be allowed at the OFCC?

If I had some Forsaken, I'd be all over the WoC challenge :)
But my Skullcrushers are swans
. I have no hellcannon though.

Hilarious!

No demigryph mounts (save for the Forgeworld special character) but he can still join the unit (on horse or on foot). He wouldn't receive the Look-Out-Sir! and the entire unit moves at the slowest speed.

PONDS!
Marry me now!
You might add some little details to the shoreline if you can - broken shield, frog, break in the skull-layer. A half-submerged boat would be pretty cool, but why would you need a boat in a pond so small. I'd buy these up for sure. Add the top of a river-troll's head peaking out from the water too.

It was the Biel-Tan that sucked me into playing Warhammer in the first place. My vote's for them.
I haven't seen one in forever.

But the Banner of World Dragon grants a 2+ Ward vs. the Arcane Unforging as it's a direct damage spell, no?
I don't have all the rulebooks in front of me so sorry if this is wrong.

And because the magic item is destroyed outright ( and not made inert) the unit loses it's standard too right? Another model couldn't pick it up as a normal standard - it's just gone. According to what's in this thread, looks legit to me.

Ahhhh, pretty sneaky sis'.

Technically you COULD direct attacks at a unit standard bearer, but since he's considered armed/armored the same as rank n' file there's no in-game effect. Casualties are removed as BeaverBeliever described. So there's no real reason to do this that I can tell - dramatic flair?

That's a long drive Scott...
I'd be down for some Mordheim but my dance card's a little full at the moment. The game's loads of fun with the right people but it can be min/max'd quite easy. If you've got some casual gamers looking for some beer & pretzels fun it's a blast.

Hey Ordo -
Looking to pick up some plastic Empire Great Cannon barrels - just the barrels - for a conversion.
If anyone has some laying around, please drop me a PM.
Thanks!

Not that I'm aware of Flava - I was just trying to explain what someone else was commenting on.
I think we all just need to put Warhammer aside and start walking around the room windmilling our arms. If somone else's junk gets in the way... tough luck.
Gnoblar Army possible?
in Fantasy Battles (9th Age, WFB, etc.)
