Set 2 ends in 24 hours!!!!
-
I'd picked up a Catacombs box but may end up not needing it (game has shifted locally). Pretty much brand new just out of the shrinkwrap.
-
Just a heads up, these end in 24 hours. I'll have additional lots coming over the next few weeks (starting with FoW German and Italian).
-
All of the items are now sold.
I want to thank the Ordo community and all of those who came over and purchased items in my auctions. I was not only able to get that Ibanez (which won't arrive for another month or so), but some other fun stuff as well!
You guys absolutely rock!!!! 👍

I used to use spent .22 LR brass (yes, from actual guns) as 40k scale artillery shells for my Basilisks and Griffons; 9mm or .45 ACP would probably work best for the Medusa... Although given ammo prices these days, a lot of guys will be hording brass in those calibers for reloading. Since rimfire ammo can't be reloaded*, .22 LR is a lot easier to come by.
*Okay, it can be, but it's such a pain in the ass to do (and buying new ammo is so cheap) that no one really bothers. The Medusa ammo has fins though, so just using brass wouldn't work - though I may try that next time I need basilisk ammo as I do have a reloading jig.

Let me check by bitz box. I actually might have a box or two...
Edit: Sorry, just have quad launcher and heavy mortar shells. Seem to have lost my Medusa ones.
Thanks for checking!

Unfortunately I can't use 3rd party on this because I enter too many official painting competitions... otherwise I'd have gone to Victoria pretty quickly... 😄

I'm just about to finish up a very old Imperial Armour (pre-Forgeworld) Medusa kit and I'd love to get a few rounds of Medusa ammo for the rear firing platform. I know you can get some if you buy the Medusa carriage artillery piece from Forgeworld, but I am not looking to build a lot of towed artillery at this point. Does anyone have a few loose rounds or one of the ammo boxes they'd be willing to part with? I've got money!

My participation in FoW / TY has been way down, but that being said I'm hoping to finish painting my East Germans for when the Pandemic is over, and I'm messing around with some Soviets as well.
I also have some Israelis for Oil War and FoaN, but they're a ways away from being ready to go.

3 out of 10 stars. Contains no air support and the bottom layer’s edges are unfinished, bare wood. Honestly, it’s like you weren’t even trying!
But, I’m a magnanimous guy and will help you hide your shame. Just crate the whole thing up and send it to me. I’ll display it in my living room and tell everyone that it’s my shoddy workmanship and no one will ever know.
Actually the bottom layer has posterboard over the wood... 😉
Now we're not going to talk about the lack of covering on some of the electronics in the back. Will have to pick that up later... 😄

Armies on Parade 2020 entry finally together (as much as it is going to be) and in. It tells the story of the simultaneous Cult uprising across the surface of Hive World Novgorod. I was largely inspired by the amazing dioramas at Warhammer World which we got to visit pre-COVID in the summer of 2019. This one would have been a lot more fun to have in the store where people could pour over the details and see all of the little stories, but this is the hand we've been dealt this year.

Does it only have a sponson on one side?
Yes - it only has the one sponson because it has the... well... some sort of power supply for the neutron laser on the other side. Part of the reason I liked this thing so much was the complete asymmetry of the vehicle.

Just finished up a Valdor tank hunter... This thing was a real beast to get together, but the end result is awesome.

It looks amazing, but it does have a lack of battle damage.
Top of the fuel tank is blown off, along with the top hatch... 😉

How do you do the streaking on the large panels- just a thin wash or?
I start with a dot of oil paint - usually oilbrusher from Ammo of Mig. Then I have a flat brush with some thinner in it I use to actually streak the paint. I occasionally do some dot oil filters as well before I go through with the rust, dirt, whatever streaks...

I know I am being crazy here- but does anyone remember those old cult limos. Maybe I am remembering wrong...
haha nm it was defiantly a thing 😛
Oh I remember them... didn't do GSC back in the day, but I remember them. The old list was very niche, but could be a lot of fun, especially if you went wild with the psykers... 😄

Finally got the first five of my Atalan Jackals together and painted. By the Four-Armed Emperor these are some of the tickiest miniatures I've ever painted / put together. So many little details. Glad I'm only planning a unit of 10 of these. You guys running swarms of these - I salute you!
