I'm thinking Rebels, as I have painted up 4 units of Troopers + Luke in the last couple months and I want to see how they look on the tabletop. I also assembled two AT-RTs last weekend and I want to try them out. I don't think I'll need to borrow any units from Salty Monkey's stock, so feel free to use any/all of those. How many points were you thinking?

Hehe. The big telescope thing is a club trophy. It's called the cannon of doom, originally the bucket of doom. It's a remnant of our past club tournament named OFCC or Ordo Fanaticus Club Challenge. Prior to the pandemic, we would invite local and regional clubs to form teams of 4 players and compete to see which team was the best generals, best painters, best sportsmen, and the very best overall (all 3 categories). Each team aside from best overall had to sacrifice one model per army to the trophy, as a fun requirement. At this point, we don't know if we will revive that type of tournament, as the interest level has waned significantly since 2020. Regardless, the trophy will stay at the clubhouse as a reminder of all the good games played at OFCC. That includes all the models too. 😉

Truly. Some sellers will put up items with a ridiculous price, just to see if there's one person who might buy it for that price. I stopped buying old GW miniatures off eBay around 2012; mostly because there were very few deals and a lot of overpriced garbage at that time.

Yeah, if you can't make it, there's no point in me opening up tonight. I'd just be doing inventory and I can work on that next Sunday. GN is hereby officially CANCELLED for tonight. If I can find a replacement host for next week, that person will hopefully start a thread no later than Monday.

So, today's forecast for my area (West Clark County) calls for freezing rain to start around 11am and last till 10pm. If that forecast holds, I probably will not be able to leave my house and open up the clubhouse tonight. I'll post here around 3pm (my normal departure time) and let everyone know if I can make it. Also, I may have to find a replacement for next Thursday night, as I have an appointment scheduled that Thursday for the late afternoon.
