I'd be down for board games. Also could work on blood bowl team assembly.

I'm curious if coaches have played around much with the rules for special stadiums, seasonal weather tables and the various other conditions in the death zone rulebook. I really like the idea of greater world-immersion and change ups. Part of why I'm on hiatus from blood bowl is because it had gotten a bit too predictable and repetitive. I think a league using the full range of options sounds like a great re entry. Anyone know if sponsored tournaments plan on doing this?

So I got the Deathzone book and I’m digging all the zany Options but I was disappointed that the missing teams were not represented as they had been in previous editions. Any idea if this is en route?

In my top five teams of all time. Thanks michaels!

@Brick Bungalow @Weav lemme know. They're unassembled & unpainted. I have all the KS extra's too, like head coach & cheerleaders.
Yes please. Messaged.

Yes. Filament (FDM) printing doesn't do a good job capturing the small detail required on minis. I do both filament and resin. FDM is great for structural prints and has excellent strength. Resin is very similar traditional cast resin, it can be delicate where the parts are fine. We could always just do one mini so can see if you like the quality.
I quote rather have a set price because it's the labor to prep the files that takes time. If STL files are unsupported, I have to create the supports and verify it works. If the files are presupported I still have to verify they are appropriate. I'm finishing up a commission and I discovered the presupported files were not only inadequate and were giving me a near total print failure rate, but they were inappropriately placed so as to interfere with detail and left visible connection scars.
Just PM me and we can work out the details.
Awesome. Thanks. I'll try and research as much of that info as I can in the meantime.

It sure is.
Is resin generally considered the best medium for these prints? I was planning to use hero forge stl files if that works.

Oh nice. I'm thinking of doing a BB team like this. Is flash drive ok?

I'd be down for board games

We've been looking into it. The only possibility that I see is buying a license to sell 3d printed stuff. It would not recoup any other way.

For Blood Bowl in general? Or for third-party minis?
Any of it really. Blood Bowl in particular.

I notice the WarStore is gone. Is there a decent US distributor currently?

The RN Estudios figures are cool too... but also seem unavailable.

I'm hesitantly considering a return to miniature gaming. Does anyone know a source for the Punga Khemri team? It's not listed for sale on their website and the kick starter is expired. Ebay also comes up dry.
Thanks!

I'd love to play... but especially if anyone wanted to play out west side. Got plenty of space!

'Easy'
The premise doesn't seem especially interesting at first pass. Urban gen Xers deal with day to day life in the city including the fallout of promiscuity and infidelity. It works because the writing is really good and the performances are believable. The third season especially got to me because of it how it portrays unintended consequences.

I’m shopping. What should I know?

Great to get some gaming in after many months of no games.

I got you; what teams are you thinking? I don’t have them all but we can proxy.
Not super important. Something that would allow for passing I think.

I'd like to play the new blood bowl. I have the rule book but I'm not sure if I have figures.

According to the new rules when would I get use the modifier for mighty blow?
1. Both Down result. I have block, opponent does not.
2. Both Down result. Neither player has block.
3. Any situation an opponent falls during their own turn.

Getting an MVP on a scrub player and being able to immediately roll for a random skill is fun reward for the completely random MVP - but that's because my scrubs are Goblins and Snotlings who I can, and usually do, immediately cut if they get a crappy roll. However, I just got Prehensile Tail on a Goblin and I'm looking forward to the using that!
Is there a team with both goblins and snotlings now?

The most exciting bit in the new rules for me was the option of random skills. Mainly just for the surprise and novelty factor. The most fun I ever had playing was in a league where all skills were randomized.
But how does this play out in a league? Is there an argument for a competitive edge here? Certainly your team will skill up faster this way. And of course you can retire players who aren't compatible.
I feel like this could be strong in a league where everyone starts at 100, with a bit of luck. Less so as teams advance long term.

Since the normal theater isn't a good option right now. I added a small home theater setup to my art studio. Pretty close to entry level on each component including projector, screen, soundbar and an hdmi hub so I switch inputs easily. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
I'm curious to pick the brains of anyone who has set this sort of thing up. How have you optimized picture and sound? Whats the best way to arrange seating? What else do I need to know?
