Monday nights at Guardian Games.

Speaking of Celestial Guard, anyone know if they are do for a resculpt? Looks like the ones in the sectorial boxset are different than the ones in the Celestial Guard boxset.

Well I just happened to stumble upon the Warcor and infinity escalation league today in Tucson. What are the odds? Nice group. I even impressed myself when a rules question came up and I new the answer. I guess I have been listening to you guys! I'd rather be up there gaming with you all though. See ya next Sunday.

I picked up a few more toys to play with...

I got two more Tiger Soldiers - boarding shotgun and spitfire, Yan Huo with HMC, and Sun Tze. I'm really liking the look of the armoured Yu Jing troops.

The mat is one of the Rainy Day games mats. It's the official size with all of the correct markings.

Another two great games tonight. First game against Haqq and second game vs USARF. Wow, Ariadna has a metric crap-ton of troops and orders. The Shaolin in both games tried to dodge mines. Some were successful others not so much. In both games all of the monks were dead by end of turn one. Go monks go! But overall the MVP for Yu Jing was the Hsien with HMG. He was really great!

Follow up to my Warsenal order. I was contacted both by the order department and the owner to apologize for the mistake. They told me that they would fix the mistake after the hurricane passes! Now that's pretty amazing. Worrying about an order when a natural disaster is going on around you! Now I feel stupid for not realizing where they were located.

Yah you can join us noobs for some games. We have no idea what we are doing but we're having a blast doing it!

I recently placed an order with Warsenal. The order came in today and not one part of it was not messed up. The invoice said two of this item I got one. It said pack of five yet I received a pack of three. Etc, etc. Anyone else have any luck with them? This may be my first and last order with Warsenal!

Another great game night! My two games were fun and I learned a bunch. I managed to get my whole force assembled Late Saturday evening which made me very happy. The Wu Ming with heavy rocket launcher looks fantastic (Panzerfausts actually) and is really good in the game too. I managed to crit twice with it! I know that a critical is just a lucky dice roll but the rocket is very, very good.

So for next week we get to use Lieutenants now. What's the wisdom on taking a Lt? Do you go with the cheap grunt Lt or the expensive armoured up and special Wpn Lt?

Personally I hate the "auto" include units in games. That is why I will most likely not take it. Yes I may be hindering my chosen forces performance but so be it. We can't always operate with all the tools we would like.

Wow thanks for that response. Quite detailed. I've never been one to really care if I'm playing optimal. If I like the fluff or look of a model then I will probably use it. Isn't the Sophotect an ALEPH troop?
