  1. I have about $400+ worth of resin 15mm Stalingrad terrain from JR Miniatures that i am looking to sell for about $250. Some painted some not. If there is any interest, i can throw up some pics.

Also, long time no see. Hope everyone is healthy and happy.

  2. Frankly, both the BA rules and the Armies of Germany needed a revision. I am glad they waited as long as they did, though, to really suss out the things needing correction.

That Konflict '47 looks pretty fun, too. Especially since I imagine most of your BA army is still usable in this other system.

  3. Hey everybody. i bought a new desk last night and would like to get rid of my old one. I have spent countless hours sitting at this bench building models. As a result, the surface has paint spatters, some stains, etc. The desk itself is sturdy and has years of life left in it as a great modeling bench. The upper level really makes it well suited for modeling supplies or placing the parts of your army you are done with or about to get to.

Anyway, i would like it gone. If you swing by with a six pack of something tasty, it is yours. I live in SE near 82nd and Powell. Shoot me a PM and come get it.

It is a about 28" deep and a little over 4' wide.

  4. It was my understanding (and how we played it) that you do draft every age.

I have played 4 games with 3 players and 2 games with 4. i imagine it will hit the table at least once an evening for the next few game nights, but will probably move to the back of the line once Scythe arrives.

  5. I have these 2 awesome wargames games from the late 80's for sale. Shogun is a wargame set in feudal Japan. I spent countless hours playing this game in high school. Fortress America is a what-if game of an invasion of the US in the vein of the movie Red Dawn. I don't know what Saddam wants with New Jersey, but it is your job to stop him.

The boxes on each are rough, but both are 100% complete and in excellent shape for being 30 years old. I have inventoried every piece and bagged everything. These are from the same series that launched Axis and Allies. I am asking $30 each or $50 for both. Prefer local pick up.

Here are some pictures of each:

  6. I have 2 items up for sale that will help you get that castle you always wanted into your Lion Rampant game.

Siege of Orleans set from Italieri - $60

This set comes with a full size castle, 20 English troops, and 20 French troops. The scale is 1/72nd, but the castle seems like it would be great on a 28mm battlefield.

This kit is no longer produced, but originally retailed for $90. I am asking $60. The box is a bit beat up, but the contents are in perfect shape.

Here is a link to the assembled castle: http://olx.pl/oferta/italeri-siege-of-orleans-172-no-6104-zamek-CID767-ID8Ftnj.html

My second item is this siege machine from Zvezda. Also 1/72nd in scale, it comes with a beautiful covered battering ram, some siege ladders, a wooden shield on wheels, and a tub cauldron of boiling oil to help the defenders. i am asking $15 for this. Here is a link that shows how cool it is:

Take them both for $70 (or make an offer if you think that isn't a fair deal)

  7. I am making room in the storage closet and this stuff has to go.

3 2'x4' table ruined city boards. $30 for all 3.

These are made of 2" thick pink foam. I will throw in an extra 2' x 4' x 2" piece of foam in case you want to make another board.

I made these hills from plaster cloth and such. $10 takes them. They are large.

And finally I have this 4' x 8' grass thing from Woodland Scenics (I believe). $10

    h3aV9W8.jpg

That is $50 total, but $40 takes everything.

I will be posting more stuff tonight.

I won't ship any of this. I live in SE Portland near 82nd and Powell and would love to see this gone ASAP!

  8. The thing I really liked about Attack the Block was that they actually got kids from the Council Estates to play all the kids. They went around to schools that had drama programs and did auditions there, and let the kids improvise a bunch of their dialogue so the slang and all would actually be authentic.

Both the Bill and Ted movies are classics for me. Saw them at just the right point in my life that they stuck in my head, and then I've come to appreciate them even more over the years as I learned more about heavy metal.

The main kid from Attack the Block is one of the main characters in the new Star Wars. He is the stormtrooper in the first teaser.
