  1. No problem. I like looking at the numbers, too. That being said, I looked at trying to convert a table into code that would work on the forum, but I couldn't find anything that worked quickly, so here are more images: Looks like a combination of player experience, and the balance between the battle and narrative did a good job of keeping most things even, regardless of comp. Tournament balance goal achieved, imo.
  2. It was late at night and I couldn't quickly figure out how to post a table with whatever syntax the boards use. When I have time next (probably tonight), I'll reorganize and post the results.
  3. Based on the following chart and a quick look at all the numbers, I'd say we did a fairly good job of balancing everything. Comp didn't seem to dictate where people placed and what army you brought didn't seem to factor too much, which I'm happy to see. Quick view of comp vs. place: And here's all the details with comp added in (couldn't copy/paste table, so you get a screen shot):

  7. First round matchups for tomorrow: http://warscore.net/event/106/view.html Let the trash talking begin!
  8. For format, as long as it's organized and readable, then that's fine. Probably best not to abbreviate too many things or use short hand, but essentially just make sure everything is clear. And no need for Swedish to be included, but if you already have it with the list, then that'd be good to have for us.
  9. Yeah, three MC will do it. I'll reword it so Terradons and Warhawks (anything else?) are included. Thanks for catching that.
  10. Yeah, we'll let you know if we spot something. Three more days until lists are due for no penalty!
  11. Use whichever is the most recent at the list due date, Feb 28th.
  12. All true, but if you think about the old OT rules where a FG would auto-win, did you ever see anyone pass the ball once they were within comfortable FG range? No, they kicked the statistically better attempt at FG (or, 3/5 chance Lynch would gain on a run play, in this case).
  13. This sounds like more of a fluff or fun army (if you don't mind my opinion), so I'd say any of those choices would be great. They all have their uses. Except the Slaughterbrute. It's pretty terrible. (Low number of attacks, no ward save, a decent chance of it attacking your own army, expensive points wise). Unless you really like the model, which is pretty sweet, I'd go with something else. The Shaggoth in particular could fill a similar role for fewer points (I think) and no chance of it attacking your own army. Good fluff choice too if you're going to include normal Dragon Ogres (which I would take with great weapons, as you can get more/better S5 attacks with normal Warriors or Chosen).
  14. Here's an updated rulespack: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/47532949/Rulespack_Rev6_2015-01-29.pdf Changes include: +Updated sponsors +Updated End Times Swedish (added all Thanquol models and changed Glottkin to -80 from -110) +Added Gilgamesh Brewing as our Saturday night get together +We're buying beers for stein winners! +Changed/added to Scenario 5 based on someone's feedback and upon rereading it myself I'm getting excited for the Brawl!
  15. Good catch, your correction would be what we were shooting for. I'll amend that in the update. Thanks!
  16. It's in the painting section: "There will also be an optional hobby challenge. Bring a model on a chariot base to represent your relic carrying wagon for Round 2. The model with the most votes for favorite will win a prize. If you do not wish to bring a custom model, a dwarven pony cart will be provided to you for Round 2." Sorry for the confusion; I'll update the next rev with a mention of this in the Round 2 text.
  17. What does she like to normally do? Any hobbies/interests of particular note? Downtown is nice and cozy, but it's nothing too exciting. The waterfront and Bush park would be good for the dog, but you can't count on the weather that weekend.
  18. Come one, come all! The full rulespack for this year's Brawl is here! https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/47532949/Rulespack_Rev4_2014-01-05.pdf We'll tweak little things as necessary, but this should basically be the full thing. A few things to note: +We're going to add in further End Times rulings with any new books, as necessary. +We're going to be doing a group dinner out on Saturday night at a place to be TBD. We'll announce the place once we've figured it out. Not required, but we hope everyone can make it!

  20. Loyalty points are basically objective points that are separate from battle points. We'll be posting the full pack this week, so it will be clearer soon :)
  21. I wouldn't think so. Festus plus 50 gor would only be -55, which isn't any more than an uber character and certainly isn't more than a tooled up Demon Prince. It'd look pretty sweet, too!
  22. Can you be a little less negative and over-reactive? Maybe pointing out what you like about the model would be more productive than complaining about other people's pretty mild opinions.
