  1. @Josh - Good luck to you. roll high.

    Good luck at Enfilade guys!

First round of West Coast Nationals is tomorrow at 4pm! I'm kind of nervous, I haven't been thinking about FoW for a couple months and there's definitely lists coming to this tournament that can hurt me bad. I'm playing Panzer Lehr Gepanzerte Panzergrenadiers from Atlantik Wall; I brought this list up to Portland and played ZeroMoon with it, and I also played in a tournament four hours away in February, and got third with it.

Worse comes to worse, I'm in San Francisco (sorta), so there's distractions if I get totally shelled at the tourney...

  2. Will update first post when you decide which list.

Hey, I'm Beau, affiliated w/Moscow Front over on the Palouse.  Bill Noland told me to post on here and let y'all know that I'm coming over for Enfilade.  I'm still working my list.  It's between American Rifles and German Pioneers.  Will post again when I have it solidified.

    Semper!

  3. rehash: Each year I have emails with Battlefront about this topic since NHMGS is the historical miniatures convention in the northwest and has been holding the flames of war tournament on the same weekend for years.  Been trying to lure them to have a nationals at Enfilade and keep holding out hope. But it is all about numbers.

  4. Since I had to work this past weekend not sure what conversations took place at OCC regarding the topic. For an update on my end I submitted a proposal tournament packet to OFCC committee in December (see here) that outlines all the details based on ideas that were posted in this forum topic, my historical knowledge of the player base, and desire/thinking about an event like this for the past five years. All events run at OFCC go through a proposal/review process by the club from people who submit applications. I was selected as HOG (Head of Gaming) for Flames of War for OFCC 2016 (see here) so I suppose I am the "moderator".  I am waiting on Rhuntar to release official details though.

It is planned that a story about the event will be written about on the flames of war website in August as I've been in contact with BF already about this and prize support.

Basics are it is currently planned to be four player teams where each player has a late-war company and each game is played normally one vs one. There are team goals and individual goals. Sportsmanship is highly regarded at OFCC events. It is not uncommon for some teams to have people that don't normally game together and these people will form a team online through a team finder thread.

Hopefully I can release details very soon.
