  1. For running a game at Enfilade, one needs to eventually register for the event and but can submit a request to run a game now here -->. http://nhmgs.org/enfilade!.html

     

    On the form, it asks all the questions like table size requested, what game, what version ruleset, what time slot you want, who is running it, description of game, etc.

     

    Enfilade 2016 Pre Registration is set to open on February 1, 2016 and will close on April 27, 2016.
    Enfilade 2016 Event Submission is set to open on January 1, 2016 and will close on May 13, 2016.

    Entry Fee: You MUST be registered for the convention Enfilade Historical Miniature Gaming Convention but no other fee is required. ~$20 for day only, ~$30 for entire weekend.

    If you want the day only reg that can be done in person at the registration desk at the convention. Weekend rate can be purchased online.  The preliminary event list (PEL) will be attached here when it is generated.

    Tournaments
    The following Mid-war Monsters can be used in any Flames Of War tournament:

    ■ Any German company may replace all of its Schwere Panzer Platoons with Schwere Panzer (Porsche) Platoons, and replace all Tiger I E tanks in the Company HQ with Tiger (P) tanks at no cost.
    ■ You may field Dicker Max and Sturer Emil in an Experimental Tank-hunter Platoon in place of a Tank-hunter Platoon in Eastern Front.
    ■ You may field 8.8cm Flak18 Sfl in a Bunker Flak Platoon in Eastern Front.

  4. It seems to be who is asked or running the checkout as when I was in there I was told also that only the miniatures are 50% off as I wanted some of the FoW Battlefield in a Box stuff like gun entrenchments so ended up putting them back.

     

     

    FYI ...  I was told that Rule books are not part of the 50% sale and Paint is also not part of the sale.

  7. Goal: Assemble and paint up some of the flames of war Vietnam items I have sitting around.

     

    These are from the Battlefront Miniatures 15mm Vietnam range and initial images of them.

    The UH-1B are configured as such:
    1x Hog with M134 miniguns and M157 rocket launcher

    The main rotor is magnetized as is the flight stand (not shown). I have some door gunners that will be added.
     
    Lesson learned so far, grind down the resin a lot where the main motor assembly attaches to the body. I didn't do it on all of them and one can tell.  It is too tall and wide on some of them so it doesn't sit snug on the body. The tail rotor can be tricky cutting it from the sprue. I broke one but have a parts resupply on the way.
