Did you pick up the 5th edition or 4th edition book? The 5th edition is the newest one and are all red hardcover books for the PHB. 

4th edition is a complete spoof off of 2nd edition but 5th edition is such a redefining RPG with quite a few of its mechanics. I love how combat is done in seconds, its so fluid.

Seriously. Buying the book as just an enjoyable read is 100% worthwhile.

 

No I love to hear people say this! Are you on the kenzerco forums? It is amazing how much they interact with their customers and how much they try and be connected to their fanbase. 

I really hope that reference librarians have good social lives and dont constantly have to say "ah man, you didn't get that one?" 

I am glad they are doing LOTR models again. 

Hey, has anyone purchased and read this book? I am interested in knowing if they have added more details to the book or if its just reskinned kind of like what they did to Hurin's Children.

Is it too early for a hobbit reboot? 

You could also play it so the # of weeks are determined so that each player can play each other player in a campaign specific scenario once.

Or assume they play two different people a week and allow an extra. Week for make up games.

I had a thought have you thought about different end of game conditions? Like maybe when the value cards run out thats the end of game and you play out that round. Or maybe a limited number of customers?
