Sherbert- No, No! It's not really contentious to the point of apologizing for bringing it up. I was just taking a moment to hare my unsolicited opinion.

I guess I just don't care all that much about drinking, or to be precise, drinking while gaming. It might be great fun for GarageHammer or game night at someone's home but for a Tuesday night game I'd just prefer to stick with a beer at NYP and all the camaraderie of the post game(s) recap. To be honest though, I'm 100% against this because it would exclude people, most notable the world's youngest (and possibly best) grognard ( /nods to the General). To be frank, it's a decision he's probably making based on revenue not morals or ethics. I expect that it will be shot to $hit during the permit process but in case it's not...well - I'll take a look at that bridge if we get there, I suppose

Not really all that concerned whether it turns into 21+ and not concerned for Nathaniel' store to be super-frank. I stopped worrying about other people's problems a while back. No regrets yet.

Okay so where will I game?

This is the one and ONLY reason I vehemently oppose this. I will have to make it clear to Nathaniel that if he does this it will exclude people and this is, in my opinion, not kosher. I will most likely decide that I probably should not spend any money there or attend games scheduled there if the back it 21+ only. It is a club right? Jim, what do you think the most logical, legal and fair proposal here?

any thoughts from you SAGA veterans on how the new book changes/clarifies the rule set? I'm the tortoise of tortoise and hare fame where my saga army is concerned but I am gaining ground. At the very least, I'll bring them primed. Black. The color of shame. The shame of the unpainted that will never be washed away, no matter how many times it is dipped into the steaming lye cauldron of ... wait wtf did I ask again?

I like where it (40k) went too once I let go and remembered how to have fun again. Sportsmanship is making sure that your opponent has the same great experience from the game that you are seeking and I think that 7e 40k allows/challenges us to do this.

So I just got some Saga stuff from gripping beast. They seem a tab bit small but the main thing was what is the best way to make spears.

That said, I did loose one and used some thick wire (will check gauge #, same kind used to pin models) and filed a notch and point; when primed you can't tell the difference

Jon summoning is a bad plan! Scout and assault I'll shoot the dangerous stuff :) you get the smaller things. The knights can plug gaps and support your assault.

sounds fine. Actually the list is minimal summoning, 13 WC Dice. with daemons you simply have to at least have the option. Seems silly not to in 7th what with the firesale on daemons and all.

That said I don't want to hold the game up and I'd be happy to field something else. Let me know

I don't think I will be down. 4 days of nerding in a row was surprisingly brutal. I don't want to do anything nerd related for like 6 months or so. Well maybe I could do stuff this weekend like play my new copy of Shadows of Brimstone.

So I started a thread over in the official Infinity forums fishing for more ideas on making cool interactive elements for the game, and sharing some of the stuff we've come up with.  This is a suggestion for further developing the cameras rule that I really liked:

 

 

I don't think I would allow the discover roll for an uncontrolled camera, but if the camera was being hacked/monitored I think it is totally legit. 

I don't know how they worked last time but I like the sound of this. I'm also not opposed to uncontrolled cameras causing discover rolls if they are a certain type of camera. Say we have 3 types. Cameras there for preventing public malfeasance, Cameras that start "neutral" and can be hacked, and Cameras that can be placed by hackers which cause discover rolls and inflict a penalty if discovered (which can obviously be hacked & used against the faction that planted them.

Just tossing out ideas. I haven't played a lot of Infinity yet but I really enjoy the games I've played and love it's universe.
